Steve and Aniko Mathieson have formed a new canadian band called s.a.m. (s - steve, a - aniko, m - mathieson). Steve's band s.a.m. was formed to showcase his original music from his independently recorded and produced EP CD titled - WHEN THE NIGHT COMES
The summer of 2005, Steve participated and performed in The Cates Park Summer Concert Series and had one of his songs included on a compilation CD that was produced by MUSART to help raise funds for Cancer research.
We really enjoyed networking, meeting new people and being able to help raise funds and awareness for such a worthy cause.
Sandra Nelson has joined our band as drummer with her awesome hardhitting, driving back beat that nicely compliments s.a.m.'s melodies!
Oral Compensation joins forces with other local musicians to raise money to benefit the people that have lost everything they had in the fires in Australia.
Also on the bill for the night: Myles Bigalow, One Life Animal, Why We Live, The Moment, Crimson Roots, Bullets in Overdrive, and Missing Starla
Let’s show our mates down under just how big a Canadian’s heart can be!!! Oral Compensation hits the stage at 8:50pm! Don’t miss this awesome rock event and a chance to hear Oral Compensation’s newest singles "Bleed" and "Invisible. "
