After 5 years of intense touring the around the country and performing at countless venues & festivals, southern CA's Delta Nove returns home to take some time off from the road to present "The Collab Lab". A weekly concert series taking place every Wednesday in Oct & Nov. at the Blue Cafe in their hometown of Long Beach, CA. Each night will feature 2 complete sets of music and will feature a very special guest artist performing with the band to creating a unique live experience each week. Special collaboration guests include members of Ozomatli, Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident), Blackbyrd McKnight (George Clinton & the P-Funk All-Stars), Marc Ford (Black Crowes, Ben Harper), Greg Ginn (Black Flag, Jambang), Ikey Owens (The Mars Volta), Norwood Fisher (Fishbone), Norton Wisdom (Banyan), Jamie Janover (Zilla, Everyone Orchestra), Lynx, Brian Jordan (Karl Denson's Tiny Universe), John Whoolilurie (Mojow & the Vibration Army), Craig Marshall (Cubensis) and many more. Each week will be very different, with a mix of each guest's material, DN material, some covers, and plenty of improvisation.
