Hi everyone! We are a fanpage dedicated to ''The Bill Star'' Sam Callis who plays Sergeant Callam Stone.
Sam Callis is an English actor from Chichester, West Sussex. He has had minor roles in London's Burning, The Bill, Holby City, Doctor Who and Ultimate Force.
He currently plays Doctor Mike Banner in The Royal and Sergeant Callum Stone in The Bill.
Sam said this of joining The Bill, “I am extremely excited to be playing Sergeant Stone who is a terrific character and something I can really get my teeth into. He has an amazing storyline journey and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. I have already met a lot of the cast and crew through previous jobs so have managed to settle in quickly. Stone isn’t the first character I’ve played in The Bill, my first visit was to play an alcoholic priest!”
Frontline Part 3 of 3
It’s one week on from when PC Emma Keane was killed in a bomb blast and the day of her funeral. The investigation into the series of explosions has now concluded: the bomber has been arrested and the campaign of terror that was targeting the ‘four evils of the internet’ is now over. More details are on the incident board.
The bomber led a campaign of terror that rocked London. In his wake, scores of innocent people were either seriously injured or left for dead. The bomber picked off each perpetrator of the four evils, one by one. His method was to blow each one up with a remote controlled incendiary device.
Today all this culminated. Peter Waverley, a child abuser, was the last target. The bomb ended up in his wife’s car outside their child’s school. There in the school yard a colossal fire ball engulfed the area when the device exploded.
Shortly before hand CID officer DC Grace Dasari figured out the bomber’s location - her appeals to give it up didn’t work - instead the bomber deliberately detonated the bomb at the school using a mobile phone.
Frontline Part 2 of 3
The death toll from the bombing campaign in London is up to eleven and still raising. The bomber has tricked the policed into believing one of the victims is in fact who they’re after. Warning emails have been received – deciphering one of them led Kezia straight into a trap, it was a booby trap bomb, only she didn’t know that.
Now instead of thinking a political group are behind the bombings, the police are looking for a single person – someone very smart and motivated.
The ethos behind this terrorism is the four evils the internet have given us: porn online, right-wing politics, ID theft and child abuse.
Three of those four evils have been targeted. Now a forth explosion is expected, but it’s not known when or where, or who the target will be, only that they will be a paedophile.
Frontline Part 1 of 3
London’s borough of Canley has been targeted in a bombing campaign. Officers at Sun Hill are being lead by Counter Terrorism Unit’s DI Karen Lacy brought in to find out who is behind the explosions and why.
So far all that’s known is businesses have been targeted but there isn’t a link to connect them or obvious motive. Lacy believes the group behind this terrorism are well coordinated, motivated, and probably political.
One officer, Emma Keane, died in the blast; the death toll to date is seven and rising. There’s countless injured too, but at this stage details are sketchy.
With the benefit of hindsight an email received at Barton Street station yesterday looks like a warning of today’s bombs.
Sexual tension has gripped the pair of them, but neither one is willing to give in to it.
Most recently Emma called Stone’s bluff: suspecting he wanted her, Emma went in for a kiss. Teasing Stone, she pulled away just as he went to kiss her back with her suspicion confirmed.
Emma is not in Stone’s gang. Over the past few months, she knows something has been going on between he, Sally, Will and Ben, but doesn’t know exactly what; only that they all seem to worship their sergeant. Pah!
What Emma does know is that Stone has made sure she’s not favoured, got any of the juicy jobs and certainly hasn’t got any respect or praise from him. However, all the while, there’s been an undercurrent of emotion between them.
Last week, Stone wouldn’t let Emma go undercover on a MISPER case, as he needed “someone who knows what they’re doing”. Instead he gave the exciting job to Sally. It didn’t stop Emma however as Jack seconded her to work undercover alongside Sally too.
Within a short period of time, Emma found herself in danger, in a house with a murderer who wanted to kill her. Thankfully she lived to tell the tale after Stone (some may say her knight in shining armour) realised and pulled her to safety.
Stone and Emma’s sexual chemistry has been simmering for months – they seem to have a mutual dislike and are outwardly mean to each other – but is this just to hide their real feelings? Will they ever get together?
We have all seen Stone dole out his own style of justice: when it looks like a bad guy is going to get away with their crime, determined to see justice done, Stone makes them pay himself.
Now he has recruited his own gang. Will Fletcher saw his sergeant talk a paedophile leap to his own death – that was his initiation into Stone’s gang.
Then Sally Armstrong joined up after Stone found out she had drunk too much booze whilst undercover and ended up driving later that evening. He thought she was irresponsible but didn’t hold it against her: another gang member recruited.
And when Ben Gayle head-butts an abusive father Stone makes sure he’s not sacked for it, by ensuring it’s covered up.
There is always going to be outlaws worming their way out of the judicial system – there are more just around the corner. Now Stone’s in Sun Hill with his trusted gang behind him, they will make sure, together, none of the low-life they encounter will get out of paying for their crimes…
Sgt Stone has totally freaked PC Will Fletcher out!
After Chloe Parks, a 16-year-old girl, was found dead an investigation uncovered her father Martin Parks was her killer.
Will had discovered a desperate plea hidden on a DVD from Chloe begging her dad to stop and a hideous secret of child abuse was exposed.
With the police on to him, Martin Parks ran to the place of his daughter’s death; where he’d pushed her from a great height. Will and Stone caught up with him - however, instead of Stone talking him down, instead he told Parks he deserved to die for ruining Chloe’s life and encouraged him to jump.
Will couldn’t believe it, Parks was lying dead and Stone coldly intimated it was the justice he deserved.
Stone also warned Will to stick to ‘the story’ when writing up the report about the incident.
Sgt Stone swooped into Sun Hill with a style that simply isn’t cricket oh boy. Disarming a thug from his cricket bat as he entered the station on his first day, it was crystal clear Stone is an alpha male whose taking no hostages.
This guy’s a leader of men and has no time for the meek or the weak. He has been quick to sum everyone up in a nutshell and plan their futures playing to their strengths.
On his first investigation he goes over Smithy’s head leaving Heaton having to placate Smithy’s fury by suggesting he may be able to control him better by allowing Stone to feel he has some freedom. Smithy’s tac-tic of double psychology is working well for now.
Elsewhere PC Dan Casper has not impressed Stone and just wants an opportunity to prove he’s got a brain as well as brawn.
Sam joined The Bill on the 8th August 2007, episode name Good Cop Bad Cop.
Stone’s a tough cockney. He enjoys policing in uniform for the statement it makes – CID isn’t for him.
He’s a natural leader but also one of the lads who is encouraging, part of the team and full of camaraderie.
Stone’s got a strong sense of right and wrong and knows the law inside-out – enough to know how far to bend it for his advantage.
Women want to be with him – men want to be him.
The Royal is on every Sunday on ITV1 at 8PM! In this Sam plays Dr. Mike Banner, below is Dr. Banners profile.
Dr. Mike Banner arrives in this series to an administrative mix-up, he hasn’t actually got a job ! However things work out in the end, and Mike and his dog become a permanent fixture. His scruffy appearance elicits some comment from some of the more established members of staff, but he proves popular with the younger ones, particularly Stella and new nurse Marian.
Dr. Banner finds middle-class constrictions difficult and has a healthy disregard for authority, although he is very good with people. Dr. Weatherill is swifter to see his unique qualities than Dr. Ormerod, but he comes round eventually. Dr. Banner joins THE ROYAL for a short period before moving on to another job.
Adam joined the Blue Watch in Series 13, as a replacement for Sicknote who was killed in the Chinese Warehouse fire. Adam was a bit of a jack-the-lad and a ladies man and he also did a lot of odd jobs here and there.
Adam lived in The Oliver Twist, which was just across the road from Blackwall. He later became the joint owner with Elaine, who turned out to be the mother that he never knew!
The Benjamin's had a bad name and a lot of them were in and out of jail, but Adam was adamant that he was different. The Watch were called to a shout where Adam's teenage nephew nearly drove off of a ledge into the Thames, after nicking a car.
Adam's cousin Frank also torched a building, that the Watch were called to extinguish. Adam discovered Frank trying to flee the scene and his family tried to keep him quiet. But in the end Adam did the right thing and reported Frank to the police, which resulted in Frank being beaten up.
Adam slept with a woman in Series 13, when he was supposed to fix her kitchen, after the Watch pulled up her floorboards to free her cat. It resulted in Adam and the woman going upstairs, as George fixed the floor! Adam also flirted with Steve Prentiss' wife, until he realised who she was!
In Series 14, Adam proposed to his girlfriend Maddie, but she turned him down.
Adam ended up in trouble, after Frank Mooney lent him £5,000 to sort out The Oliver Twist. But things weren't so simple. It resulted in Adam having to do jobs for Frank, which resulted in torching a DI Roebuck's car and getting in trouble with Jimmy.
Adam saved the life of a girl called Colette, his neighbour, who tried to commit suicide by drowning herself in her bath. After Adam discovered water leaking through his ceiling, he quickly went upstairs, to discover Colette. Adam pulled her out of the bath and bandaged up her slit wrists and tried to keep her singing 'Wonderwall' as they waited for an ambulance.
