Canadian born artist Shmu dug a hole in his backyard and continued to dig until he reached Boston, Mass, where he attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music. Shmu then jumped on a submarine full of illegal immigrants, re-emerging in Austin, TX where he plays local music venues. Along with having a productive solo career, Shmu is also the drummer/vocalist of the Austin-based experimental keys/drums duo Zorch.
