I think Dry Boone County sounds great on here. I don't think it needs much! I'm so glad I have you around when a good idea pops in my head. You are much better at executing than I am!!
I really like "Dry Boone County". It has a pleasing rhythm, good beat and good lyrics. I actually think it may be one of your best songs. And of course, I still think "My Final Song" is expertly done--maybe my favorite song by you. If you can write that song, you can write anything. I think you are on the right track. I especially like how "My Final Song" fades out, then has distant drum sounds. I think if you could develop that aspect of your music more it may help tremendously. Not too long ago (to give you and example) I wrote a poem which had a vast social context (a lot of characters), and another friend of mine who is a poet as well said I should explore this aspect of my writing more, and it led to a revolution in my poetry. All I'm saying is that if you are sensitive to how your art is moving as well as what folks say they like you can revolutionize your art.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4
Hey Sam, what's going down? I got to see your dad yesterday. He seemed to be doing pretty well. Your mother got to come with me to pick corn from our garden (the garden I tend out on Yarborah Road). She got three big messes of corn. I picked a whole five gallon bucket of stuff today. I don't know if I told you this, but I have a new poem published in the Furnace Review (online). Check it out when you get a chance. Thanks again for letting me be a part of your gig, which was awsome. Take care.
