Once upon a time there was this "drummer"....... He went through band after band after band. As time passed he grew more and more impatient to create new material. One day fate handed him a guitar, and the SamDrummerBoy project became a reality.
He began to try to write music on any instrument he could get his hands on. Sometimes including instruments he had to build himself to meet his needs. Some of the strange musical creations were amazing! Other times ..... not so much. That would be for the "FANS" to decide. The man himself liked them all! Otherwise they wouldn't be on here.
People came to his site and would listen to his music. The numbers just kept increasing. Yet to his amazement, no CDs ever sold. (not all that big of a surprise.) The music obviously meant more to him than to his growing list of fans. So, he decided that maybe he would never actually make money off of his music.
That would be okay to him. He had to keep on writing music. It was all that kept him going. The instruments continue to pile up, and the back-up music files fill more and more space in piles of DVDs.
The friends that he has made along the way have kept the dreams alive. Thanks to all of them. (they know who they are.)
The music will continue, regardless of the lack of sales. Hopefully people continue to listen. And may he never try to write in the third person ever again...........
