sam was born in 1984. Immediately there after he began to hear. He vaguely remembers his father playing guitar. He's always drawn. In high school; sam realized he didn't believe in god, made very few friends, started liking music, began playing guitar, started his first band, forgot to loose his virginity, started going bald, and never really graduated.
After high school; sam's recorded dozens of songs, continued going bald, made a couple more friends, been in two bands, broken up two bands, semi house broke his dog, took up playing piano and 1/2 a drum kit, drawn some more things, and is showing signs of arthritis so he'd better hurry up and become a rock star or something of the like...
good! I'm only moving to La Mesa, but its good to get out of el cajon. I just started work @ best buy and I'm in school to be an esthetician. When/where is your show??
haha I didn't end up going but i saw them in San Francisco earlier this year. The place Im moving into is a block away from Crackatowa (??) And the basement is ready for some noise!
Hey me and Jenny saw this frankenstein painting in a bar and we thought it would be cool if we could get a portrait of the two of us but turned into frankensteins. We have a picture of it, well show you when we come down next month. Would you be interested in either painting or drawing that out? For money of course.
Awesome man, I mean aside from all the naural distasters and what not haha. Most of my dreams lately have been a mix of people from both places. The weird thing is the places are mixed too but a place is a single intienty so it has chararistics of both.
hey I just wanted to touch base with you about your next show. Can you send me the time and location info? I talked to a few people who would like to go. Peace.
Channel 12/25 in El Cajon is my favorite. It's an all-aged venue right next to F-Street Bookstore. www. channel1225. com
I believe they have Open Mic every Tuesday night. I think it starts at about 6 or 7 and runs untill 10:00pm or so. I know they've shut off the amps and let people play acousticly when it gets really late...which is pretty cool. Last time I was there they did "first come first serve". But from the input they were receiving I believe they wanted to change it to a raffle-like system.
But yeah, I highly recommend the place (it's where Music-Music used to be). They've got a great stage...great equipment and all that jazz.
