Sam Huxley- Singer. Guitar.
Anthony Lander - Bass extraordinaire.
Stu Harwood - Drums and ting.
Influences
In no particular order:
My Bloody valentine, Radiohead, Interpol, Pixies, Wire, Sonic Youth, Elliott Smith, Jeff Buckley, The Smiths, The Walkmen, Big Star, The Beatles, Love, Velvet Underground, Beck, Blur, Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Jesus and Mary Chain.
Playing the guitar, writing songs, and singing is what Sam does most. After toying with the idea of a band, Sam has decided to go it alone. Or, more importantly, he has got a new band, can't think of a new name and decides that he'll take all the glory.
Sam's agenda is to get rid of the likes of fashionistas that parade around on Shockwaves advertising boards and bands 'whose success is measured in column inches in NME, and what clothes they happen to be wearing in that article.......death to pre ripped jeans, and posers that can't play guitar. that isn't rock 'n' roll'
armed with an electric guitar, and an acoustic guitar that has seen better days Sam has played various venues round the West Midlands, including several prestigious dates at the Carling bar academy in Birmingham with hotly tipped artists such as Cathy Davey, Kubb, Surferosa, Special Needs, The Rocks, The Decemberists and a surreal gig supporting JimBob from Carter USM.
Now living in London and playing numerous gigs in the capital, Sam is going from strength to strength, impressing numerous people along the way, allowing for more people down the front at triumphant gigs.

Skeletons + Simon Finn + The Resurrection Men Saturday 14th March
As a co-founding member of Shinkoyo records, Matt Mehlan retains the label’s core ideals of collaboration, experimentation, and unpredictability with his Skeletons project. Beginning in Oberlin, Ohio as a solo act with help from an eclectic cast of collaborators (classically-trained trombonists, punk rock drummers, a junkyard boy’s choir), Skeletons has now settled comfortably into its adult body, having established the full-time band The Girl-Faced Boys (Seve, Johnny, Jason, and Carson) and forming an alliance with Ghostly. In addition to appearances at the 2004 CMJ and 2005 SxSW festivals, the group has lent live support to TV On The Radio, The Unicorns, VHS Or Beta, Animal Collective, Holger Czukay (of Can), Jackie O’ Motherfucker, and Twig Harper. A major US tour is planned for summer following the release of the LP Git.
