70s and 80s punk (like bad brains, sex pistols, husker du, adolescents, descendents, doughboys, dag nasty, zero boys, shudder to think, minor threat) mixed with 80s and early 90s indie (like my bloody valentine, guided by voices, sonic youth, dinosaur jr., built to spill) intertwined with 60s pop (like the beatles, zombies, animals, motown) all combined with our contemporaries (jawbreaker and green day for example). throughout the 90s, this band rocked out album after album and tour after tour. In 2000, they released their 6th full-length album, 'Astray', and did several tours of America and then Canada before abruptly calling it quits. But in the years to come, they got so many tour offers that when they turned down 90% of them, they still managed to tour Europe and South America half a dozen times...so they were basically 'louies'...as opposed to broken up.
the band regrouped in 2006 and released a 7th album, 'whatever's got you down' confusing even themselves with that one. WTF was up with that? please keep an eye out for tour dates, because they turn up in the darnest of places.
