* To be an inspiration to my generation and be a catalyst for youth participation and activism in this election. We should have a voice and influence in the political process that correlates to the actual numbers of those ages 18-29 in Vermont. If everyone ages 18-29 voted, we would make up 33% of the electorate, which could win this election!
* To remove the debate about a 3rd party spoiler candidate from this year's election and promote constructive debate.
* To use my knowledge of web development and social networking to bring the new era of grassroots politics to Vermont. I will also bring open source ideas to politics and gather Vermonters' opinions through my website to shape the dialog of the major party candidates and to create a system through which politicians are held accountable to us as Vermonters.
* Because we as Vermonters have paid Jim Douglas over $500,000 in the last six years, However, his policies have been obstructionist at best and lack any clear vision or leadership for the state. His toeing of the national Republican party line has led to the loss of rights and independence for Vermonters. It is time we divested state power and returned to local control. It is time for a change.
