Sounds Like
i'm told my voice sounds like my cousin sean's on the phone and i can also do a fair impression of my brother, mayor quimby and moe from the simpsons, cher, that 'sixpence none the richer' girl, the gingerbread man from shrek, and meatwad from 'aquateen hunger force'. i'm not sure what my music sounds like-- you tell me, and i'll write it in here.
i bought a guitar in 1998 because i wanted to learn bob dylan songs and be bob dylan when i grew up. i am currently not bob dylan.
i work as a barista for a certain big-brother-ish coffee shop while trying to write pretty songs. i also have too many t-shirts.

here's what john sinkevic's said about it in the grand rapids press:
"At first blush, this West Michigan singer-songwriter exhibits hints of Simon and Garfunkel from that duo's heyday. But his spare, original acoustic music also resonates with a unique poetic pulse."
I'll be in Chicagoland at the tail end of December. Tell me where you will be or where you will be entertaining the fine tax-paying residents of Michigan and I will go there. I'll bring a harmonica, a bag of Doritos, my hopes and dreams, and a bag of dirty laundry.
Sam, we talked about this, and I figured that it is time to make it publicly known, that if the music business fails you, you have a very delicate skill in removing rotting rodents from your friends' cupboards, just so you aren't selling your self short-- keep this additional asset in mind when considering your future plants. You're the best for more reasons than one, and this just proves it! You and Billy were great last night, thanks for that too.
I'm so happy we're internet friends now! It's the next best thing to being real friends! Here's a virtual round of applause for being so super. *clap clap clap*
hey sam! i just went to the theater's website. There's a 3:20 show that I could make it to. I checked my schedule and I have to take a test that morning, so I can't make the noon show. let me know if you still want to do that. peace yo
