Sam Malones Hairpiece's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | Both from Southeastern Pa, Mike and John met at Bucks County Community College where they both were students of improv 101, taught by Bill McGlaughlin. It was there that they realised theyre similar sense of humor and similar taste in music, movies, etc. The class that semester had been divided into 2 teams by Mr. McGlaughlin for the upcoming student-performed show. The students were asked to come up with names for the teams. Sam Malone's Hairpiece, a name thought up by Mike Tingle, was settled upon after much deliberation (it came down to either Sam Malone's Hairpiece or Tom Sellecks mustache). After Sam Malone's Hairpiece was victorious in the all-improv show, John and Mike carried on. They attended Classes in New York City at Chicago City Limits, an improv/sketch group co-founded Bill McGlaughlin. After the classes, they brought the Sam Malones Hairpiece name back, using the name for self-produced shows. The most successful of which raised $1100 for the MS society.
