music nerd, film nerd, quoting music, quoting films, former spelling nerd, food, cooking, baking, writing, not taking myself too seriously, pretending to dance, making fun of myself and other people, love, talking talking talking talking (I love language and I love words), the world and everything in it, running, jumping, climbing trees, and singing a LOT-- I'll stop when I'm dead

About me: My girl. Writing a sweet, spare song is sexy, but laughter is even sexier.
How to properly advertise a new single. God bless her countryfied little soul. Hey, if girls can be suckers for guys with guitars, guys can be suckers for girls with guitars. And toy pianos.
Butch Walker, in full-band array this time. The first Marvelous 3 song I ever heard still knocks me on my ass almost 10 years later. Those power chords, gang vocals, and monster choruses to make the earth shake make it feel good to be alive.
I have no problem embracing my pop side.
Smooth and sweet. "Maybe we could chill and just be... maybe we could just be silent." ("Roll a tree" is the censored bit, stupid puritans.)
A goofy, fun video for one of my favorite songs ever. "I think I'd be good for you, and you'd be good for me" indeed. Brian Bell at 1:24 = I ha ha every time.
Words, and more words. I talk too much, I think too much, and I talk too much. And I can't change that. It's who I am. If you know me for squat, you know I'm not conceited, I simply love words and conversation and communicating. That's me. For better or worse, take me or leave me.
I love laughter. It's the sanest, most effective way to deal with the absurdity and bullshit of the world and the nutjobs who live in it, oneself included. I hate self-importance. Laughing at oneself is one of the most important (and for me, attractive) qualities a person can have, it keeps you honest. I'm quite self-deprecating, but I'm happy and proud of who I am. I can't trust people who aren't honest and up-front about themselves, no have time for that. "Be yourself" is such a cliche', yet very few people are or want to, I find. Let it all hang out, it makes the world easier to sort out, and here's how: a few persons will accept you as you are, those you make your friends. The rest can go to hell, they don't deserve to know you.
Just because I'm spontaneous in thought or action doesn't mean I'm crazy, I just have an overactive brain with an overactive imagination, looking to stimulate or entertain itself. (Important to remember if you see me laugh to myself.)
I can't help teasing and joking on people. It's a sign of affection. I kid 'cause I love. I may have a predilection and affinity for sarcasm and caustic humor, but that's because my nature is quite the opposite. It's another extension of not taking things too seriously. I'm nothing if not playful.
You will never see me listen to music without singing, humming, tapping, moving, or dancing. It's impossible for me to listen to music passively or as background, and in my own self-important way, I can't understand how people can do that. Music should be an active experience.
Film snob, music snob. More well-versed than most by far, though in the grand scheme, more like drop in the ocean. Not a scholar, nor do I pretend to be. I merely love what I love.
I'm very easily and simply amused-- what good is life if you can't enjoy the simple things? Besides, life is rarely grandiose moments and sweeping epiphanies. Hank Scorpio says, "you can't argue with the little things: it's the little things that make up life."
Who I'd like to meet: People with vim, slightly unhinged, knowingly neurotic, and above all, unapologetically themselves (without being overbearing though :) Maturity doesn't necessarily mean being devoid of imagination or energy. Those who have intelligence and are able to carry on interesting conversations, and are passionate about something, anything. People who care about stuff. I have seen the enemy, and it is bland.
Gosh Gezz Sam I got to agree with you on ur comment, all thougt it is quite beautiful but I sure was feeling your creepines too...lol ha we are three weirdo's
