'Yes, it’s beatless, but it’s definitely not ambient, especially when that term has been so twisted out of shape that it now generally refers to dull, floaty, crusty, crystal shop pseudo-transcendental bollocks. Always From This Point has no such aims of altered consciousness; it’s about being here on earth and living life, about love and regret and all those other slightly emo things that tend to afflict the human being from time to time. The sound reflects this earthen intent; solid, rooted to the low-end, designed to be played as loud and bassy as your surroundings will permit.
Ranging from the jubilant fanfare of 'Trumpet o'Doom', through the howling reverberations of 'After All That' to the shifting, Reichian drifts of 'Making Snow,' to this album is as warm, fuzzy and tempramental as the dog that Samoyed named himself after. It’s also a great statement of intent from flask – fantastic, idiosyncratic music, beautifully packaged and postively sopping wet with all the love, joy and pain that went into every aspect of it.' flask

*you should probably note that since the packaging is all hand-screened, and CD cases are a bugger to print on, they're all delightfully individual. Maybe wonky, maybe a slight ink smudge here or there... It all just adds to the charm, of course.
im sat up at 7. 22 this fine morning, the suns shining through a little gap in my curtain onto my face and ive got 'after all that' floating out my speakers -aaaaaaaahhhhhhh
Hey there, thanks for the request and glad you like 'water for muddy people'. I have a new 13-track LP coming up. It's currently in production. So lots more you can listen too soon. cheers, Gisli

Amazing music folks, it will keep me going from 1700 as I start a mildly depressing evening shift :) Also I have just discovered how to do this :) . . .
I promise not to post loads (and I hope it is ok to post just delete if it annoys you) - hope your well and lots of love from everyone at CoPilot Effect
It would be great if you were free on May 29th to head to the Doghouse.
wherddd!! yep i been looping this! trumpet o doom title had ma flatmate in stitches "whers the trumpet!......whers the doom?" its excellent .... have you sent it to radio 3 late junction? they would lurve it!
really nice blippy blips man, lasso in particualr oh and of course how could I forget the lovely Flask ending...a treat indeed, i've passed on to a selected selection
Its all summery and relaxed in Gloucestershire today with people eating ice creams and going for family walks and waiting for the village shop to open after lunch so we can buy eggs, very nice
Ouuu podcast of dirty hip-hop, my selection would be, in no particular order
1. Raise it up by Slum Village " Okay it was me. I hit your girl up in your place. Placed the bitch on the mat and sprayed cum up on her face."
2. Lick the P***y by Beatnuts (very, very disgusting beat and lyrics, not for the faint hearted).
3. Crushin by j.dilla
4. Freaks by Sa-Ra Creative Partners
5. The Look of Love by Slum Village
6. Suck My D**k by Lil' Kim ( a controversial choice I know). I was going to quote a few lines from this track, but actually I'm just not that brave...
thank you for the hello! you should come to glasgow for the ballers social club partay tomorrow. im gna be up there for the weekend. maybe i should come to dundee and we can go screen printing hahah. hope you are well? beautiful music. i need to pass my boss a copy of your stuff so he can stock it in zee shop! x N
yep, yep I know that one, its a nice track. Indeed they are filthy and disgusting. Although, I don't know if you have heard of Sa- Ra Creative Partners (dope as hell), they have a track called 'Freaks'. It blows all other dirty and disgusting lyrics combined with kick ass music production out the water.
...ha nothing wrong with a bit of berating now and again, hmm. I've got some, what I consider as, exciting things coming up, so i'm quite happy at the mo.
Ouuuu that opening shot is lusher than lush and I could have quite happily watched it for loads longer. 'ave watched the others too and they are well nice, the cowboy + lasso is rather delightful.
Am planning to purchase your album soon, therefore your subliminal marketing strategy is working a treat.
thank you sir, glad you're still enjoying those sounds! I really need to get hold of your album when I have the cash, I'm totally skint right now but definitely save me a copy if possible. all the best with it man, artwork looks lovelyy
