Scrape a soul like you scrape a bowl and sAMPLE tHE mARTIAN would be the resin. . . lace that with hip-hop, funk and poetry and you'll have a groovy thought provoking emotional buzz for that act as a +3 skill for computer hackers, tattoo artists, skateboarders, video game €|_33+, comic book headz, and graf writers.

eMpyre's musical instruments were infected with a techno organic virus that gave them creative artificial intelligence . . they got together with some tormented video game characters and started rapping about humans, mutants and robotrons.

eMpyre started playing piano at age 12 and quickly learned to mimic melodies by ear. In time he learned guitar, bass, drums, synth, turntable scratching, rapping and vocals.
Meanwhile - he was DJ'ing for at an open format radio station in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. WUPX FM Marquette. Growing up he was lucky enough to be exposed to music of many different genre's. He was able to explore this even further at WUPX.
His goal is to write songs that have an identity, that have some sort of meaning and to constantly try new arrangements instrumentally and vocally while learning to connect to people without compromising his artistic integrity.
After graduating eMpyre started Galactic Dust Records and put together a few compilations while building his own musical confidence.
In 2002 Share Warez was released. It was a tribute to Open Source Programmers and Non-Malicious Hackers. sAMPLE tHE mARTIAN had 2 songs on this disc. Jeavy Hoint (The Anti-Formula Formula) and Disconnecting Da Power.
While promoting the disc around Detroit eMpyre met a dozen or so promising indie hip-hop artists and started networking with some national acts in the Midwest. From this Untyin' Lost Souls was born in 2004 which included 20 songs including a track from Heiruspecs, One.Be.Lo, Dubphonics and 3 sAMPLE tHE mARTIAN jams. The 2nd half of the CD focused on up and coming Nerd Core artists.
By urging of fans eMpyre has decided to release a full length sAMPLE tHE mARTIAN record later in 2009. Some of the current tunes on MySpace will be re-recorded and mixed at SoundScape Studios in Royal Oak MI. . . but the majority of the CD consists of songs never before released to the public.
Internet isn't quite the same without ya buddy. But at least shit is smoothing out and getting better. I usually don't let sickness stop me from much unless I feel lazy lol. But usually I push myself to the point of dieing.
