I write and play music. I live in New York City, where I am a member of two bands: Glissando Bin Laden and His Music Hadiin (improvisation quartet with 2 violins, laptop, keyboards, and vocals); and exclusiveOr (myspace.com/exclusiveOr (a duo that makes music with vintage 60's and 70's synthesizers)). While in Austin, TX, I created a band called Ready for Japan (electronic ambient and break-beat) with Mike Vernusky, which will likely come out with a new album in the coming years. I attend Columbia University, getting my DMA in music composition.

hi, nice we are connected here -- I am a little bit more into accoustic music (with electronics) at the moment but like your work very much, would be nice to play sometimes somewhere -- greetings t.
hey sam, saw you're doing dorkbot next week, very cool. i'm looking for a drummer/programmer to collaborate with me on acoustic/foreign instruments with effects - does anyone come to mind?

An overpowering silence descends into the room. "As long as there is recognition, there is no silence. That recognition is you. That is Mahesh. That noise of that train passing which you hear now is the one that is silencing you, putting you to an end. You cannot take it, so you run away. Just as you cannot stare at the sun long without going blind, you cannot listen to the sounds around you." UG Krishnamurti
