   關於 Sampson Nordquist
Sampson is an independent Canadian songwriter based in Kitchener Ontario. Shortly after purchasing his first guitar at the age of 14, he started writing and participated in various musical projects.

By 16 he was a member of "Borrowed Time" and "The Bedheads", 2 separate alternative rock bands, each drawing influences from bands such as Pearl Jam and Nirvana.

During his college years he later moved on to work on solo projects. During this period, he gave the electric a rest for while and developed a softer, mellower acoustic style.

At the age of 18, Sampson recorded his first full-length album titled "The Visitor" in 1997. He followed up with the mini album "Returning Home" in 1999.

After taking an intermission to settle down and raise a family, Sampson is getting back into the scene. He has settled his differences with the electric, and is once again inseparable with his baby-blue strat. He is currently recording his third album, which is due to be released in 2008.

Thanks for dropping by. Good luck with your release this year. My album was recorded mainly by Scott Cooper (myspace.com/scottcooper) but bits and pieces at home and around Toronto.

Hi Sampson,

Good to hear from you, and apologies for responding to your query by way of your 'Comments' page - I couldn't see a message option on your site. The song you asked about is entitled 'When We Go' and it will be on my third and forthcoming CD, 'Moth Nor Rust' - hopefully available before the summer.
I look forward to seeing you perform live one day sooner than later.

Hi Sampson,
It's your moral responsibility to arrest Kitchener in song. I hope - and trust - that you are up to the challenge.
