I previously worked with my trusted friend Rob Jones (guitar, bass, drums, keyboard,glockenspiel and... recorder! is there anything he can't do!)At the moment I am currently working with Matthew (Guitar),Lydia (Drums) and Phil (Bass).
Influences
I listen to all kinds of Indie, Acoustic, rock, pop e.g. Linkin Park, AAR, Norah Jones to name a few. I have a passion for Hindi music, soft Indian classical and folk,Qwaalis, favourites are Sonu Nigam and "Jal" the band...thats my Eastern tastes!
Brought up in Glasgow, Samrita is now based in the Midlands. Graduated in Music Technology Samrita has a strong and versatile voice and seeks to establish her own appeal by using strong melodies. Her confidence and determination as an artiste coupled with an extraordinary passion for music is only a fraction of her capabilities as a singer and songwriter.

We're promoting our next album at the minute, and recording dubplate specials for various DJs. Recently submitted a video to Channel AKA on Sky, so hopefully that will get aired! I've recently gone part time self employed, doing poetry workshops with kids up and down the country. Self employment is scarey - but hey its all branching out and performing!
