I listen to all kinds of Indie, Acoustic, rock, pop e.g. Linkin Park, AAR, Norah Jones, Scott Matthews and a bit of everything else. I have a passion for Hindi music, soft Indian classical and folk,Qwaalis, favourites are Sonu Nigam and "Jal" the band...thats my Eastern tastes!
Brought up in Glasgow, Samrita is now based in the Midlands. Graduated in Music Technology Samrita has a strong and versatile voice and seeks to establish her own appeal by using strong melodies. Her confidence and determination as an artiste coupled with an extraordinary passion for music is only a fraction of her capabilities as a singer and songwriter.
