Rising out of the ashes of projects The Graveyard Redemption and Scumaci, Sam Scumaci felt it was time to take matters into his own hands. This one time, industrial side project is a new chapter in the Scumaci novel. It shows a newer, more creative side to Sam, but also at the same time brings him back to his evil; sinister roots. Released February 14th, 2005 through First Amendment Records, "Blood And Sex" shock, and amaze all different kinds of people. Within the first few weeks, the CD was selling like crazy. Various college radio stations had played the album and got more requests for the album. During the second week of its release, Sam Scumaci posted an unreleased track called "Evilmusickunleashed" the track got so many plays that fans had requested more unreleased songs from the Blood And Sex album, causing Sam later to re-release the album on July 21st with unreleased songs, remixes, and demos as bonuses. Once again, the album became in high demand. With insane live shows to help promote the re release, Sam had become a success on the underground scene in Chicago and continues to cause chaos everywhere he goes. In October, Sam had gone back to his dungeon to record an EP titled "Don't Die Yet", a collection of new recordings and remixes. Released on January 10th, 2006 through First Amendment Records, "Don't Die Yet" was being called the bastardized child of Remixes and also a teaser of what Sam's new solo stuff would be like. In Feburary of 2006, Sam had announced that he was going to work on his 2nd solo album. On June 6th, 2006, First Amendment Records released Sam Scumaci's 2nd solo album "Sex Addicted Terrifying Songs From The Undead: A Stalker's Guide To The Beauty Of An Insane Girl Who Ate Her Own Brain Out While Jen Blows You" along with a split album with industrial band Moribund "Darker Than The Blackest". In July of 2006, Sorrowful Records released a digitally remastered version of ""Blood And Sex". On October 31st, 2006, Hedonism Records released the long awaited Glenn Danzig tribute album "Icons Of The Underground Vol 1: Glenn Danzig" featuring Sam Scumaci's strange version of the Danzig song "Deep". In 2007, Sam Scumaci released "Remix The Horror... But Still Have Sex", an online digital EP containing remixes done by former Moribund / Sam Scumaci member Mike Johnson. Sam Scumaci also released "Live At The Orphanage" a Live EP that contain 4 unreleased songs performed live and a cover of Jonny McGovern's hit "Soccer Practice". Sam Scumaci's 3rd album, "Hate Me For Being Born" had been released in April 2007 and fans at the time were saying its the best album so far ever out of the catalog! In 2008, a series of digital albums we're released by Head Records including Read The Bottle Heath Ledger, Heath Ledger Blues, Rats And Bones and a re-issue of the out of print "Live At The Orphanage". Sam was also featured on the Head Records / Misfits Central compilation "It's About Violence". Can more horror and insanity be created to top this? We'll have to find out in the future!
