About me: Please allow me to introduce myself... My name is Samuel Canales i am Chicago's finest formally trained freelance Artist. I studied Fine Arts, Visual communications at The American Academy of Art Chicago where i follow in thee foot steps of many Famous alumni as Alex Ross (DC Comics, Gil Elvgren ( Sexy Pin-Up Artist)... and many many more Great Artists!
After graduating from The American Academy of Art Chicago I recieved a position as thee Art Director of Elite Model Management Chicago. While working there I was inspired by all thee Unique Beauty that presented itself on a daily basis. I befriended many by collaborating with the Talent, and on many occasions took candid photographs that influenced my work to this day.
By far my strongest skill is thee ability to See. I use lines to accenuate my subjects strongest features. My Art varies in mediums, but i have always used lines to emphasize contours, composition, and even texture in my work.
By observing my Art one can't help but notice the Strong Sexual undertone. When i begin a piece it is because of a Desire to capture one's Beauty. In all my portraits i try to grasp the Essence of the personality in my subjects. The result is what you see!

I cannot regret the choices I've made in life. My choices have allowed me to see the do's & don'ts of life. Therefore helping me make better choices to shape me to be who & what I am today. LOVE
I think one of the greatest treasures we have in life are choices. The choices you choose should be the ones that come from your heart and that best suit you. When you start making choices based on other people's opinions, pressures or conviction... You start living for them and not yourself. Don't dwell on the bad choices you've made, learn from it, grow with it and decide to make a better choices from it. Most importantly be happy with it!
Let your choices shape you to be the person you want to be and the life you want to live.
You are your only obstacle... Don't allow yourself to be your only excuse...

Never be afraid of following what's in your heart, it's your dreams speaking up. The more we listen and learn to trust in our dreams, the more we begin to trust in ourselves. Yes it's scary at times to do new and different things, but each step is a victory and something to be proud of. By trusting in ourselves we learn more and begin to make better choices for ourselves. That's the real secret in life, to become who you truly are. Trust. Love. Have Faith. Learn to do things for yourself and lots will be learn!
This is my dream... I am not afraid, I believe in myself, and I know I can make it come true...
Don't be bullied by obstacles, they are only there to scare you! Stand strong, have faith and keep on moving. What you once saw as an obstacle will soon become laughter :o) You are always stronger then you think you are! You can always do more then you think you can! Become the dream you see! The choice is always yours!
