So how are you and the family doing? It was nice seeing your mom and Ken. Wish they could have stayed longer. Stan and I really want to drive up there on summer with the truck and camper. But we have to get a new truck that can fit the family.

Are you losing your fingernail as well? I hope you weren't using that bandsaw with the aide of any Arctic Devil barley wine :) We are all set next week to re-visit the folks in CO and see how Joe is doing after surgery. We are also in the process of looking for a new vehicle to replace the old Subaru. Common sense is steering me towards a new truck (as opposed to a small SUV) for the house. We'll see. So how goes the prep work for school? I am done now. Funny, I don't feel proud or accomplished. More liberated than anything else. This 'free time' I am experiencing is like some form of academic empty nest syndrome. I am considering whether or not to pursue a Master's now. Better not get ahead of myself, though. I need practical OTJ experience before I take that leap. Right now, I am content to study Russian in order to become more fluent...

Been chugging stout for the past week now. I quickly find however, there is not enough of it here to enjoy, as what little I have was smuggled into the state from San Diego. I'm up for another 10-hour beer run, though! So what's the scoop these days, Sammy?
Things are going good. We are staying busy. It has been cold here too. Today was nice but cold. So Rod and Kirstin leave in about two weeks together to DC they should have fun.

Got your message. Sorry about the 'CoHoHo' thing... I'm an IPA, Amber/Brown Ale guy - who drinks a stout, so long as it's smoooooth sippin'. I told about that chocolate stout they brew here in SLC, right? Squatters Brewery puts out a grog called 'Captain Bastard's'. I liked the stout, just wasn't too thrilled about the chocolate part :(
