Samy jones was born on the 13th of july 1982 in Steyr/upper austria. At the age of 5 she entered stage for the fist time. And since then she never really left it again!
Many years later, after many gigs, with many different bands, in many different clubs, in many different countries she decided to do her very own stuff.
2004 she joined in the austrian crossover/folk/jazz/pop/comedy formation „globalkryner“.
In 2005 austria made the decision that globalkryner will represent austria at the Eurovision song contest in kiev.
....samy won the austrian music award „AMADEUS“ (best rock/pop national)
....she released 2 CDs: „Krynoloigy“ (globalkryner, Lawine/SonyBMG) austrian charts 2 entry , and „living in a waitingroom“ (marcus reiter feat. samyjones, @skymusiccompany)
