About me: At age 50, Sandra 'SaNa' Foster decided to try something different and taught herself to play the bass. What she found out was that once she gained her confidence, she was a natural. Now she is a regular on the Atlanta music scene as the bassist, lead vocalist, and director of The SaNa Band and SaNa Sounds Recording, LLC. She also plays with various artist including Deacon Blues and the Holy Smoke Band, the James Brown rhythm section, Chick Willis, Theotis Ealey, Tommy Brown, Heaven 'Wild Child' Davis, Mudcat, Larry Griffith, Beverly Guitar Watson, and others. SaNa has opened for Clarence Carter, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Band, the Uppity blues Women, Buckwheat Zydeco, and Trudy Lynn. SaNa is a Dance band. The band is on time, one key, and on the one!
