"Blown away. Either to be blown away or to be left in peace and quietness – this is what everyone desperately wants these days. To be absolutely taken in by something – something you believe in, something that calms you down and something that’s blinding out the rest of the world when you’re breathing it in. “Rune” by Sanction IV is definitely the right soundtrack to a feeling like this.
With much heart and passion, Sanction IV created a unique mix of Electronica, Trip-Hop and acoustic performances. The melodies are fresh like warm winds in spring and still fragile like a butterflys wings. The beats are emphasizing the vulnerable characters of the songs but they are also setting enough muscles on them for the cold cold world. The strong debut of Sanction IV shows the intense inner world of brainchild (songwriter and producer) Merlin Leuenberger: it is true passion needless of words. We can be sure that “Rune” was just the beginning for him."

Biography
Merlin Leuenberger, the brainchild of Sanction IV and co-founder of Spectral Paradisis, is a man who has always put all his love into the music that he produces. He started making music back in 2003, messing around with simple sound-programms and various acoustic instruments, but it soon began to grow immensely into a world full of heart-based music writing. Merlin soon began to work together with other musicians, each of them with a totally different musical background. It was all about gaining experience and exchanging technologies, finding eachother. In 2006 then, Merlin founded the Trip-Hop/Electronica project Sanction IV. At the moment there are 5 musicians working on this project, but we are still hoping to find the best-suited voice to our music.
Sanction IV has just released their debut album 'Rune' which is currently available on Sanctionfour.com and in a few weeks time also on CDBaby.com and Itunes. For more info's, Music and Merchandising visit the official Sanction IV website HERE, check it out cuz there's some free stuff for you there aswell!
Merlin's second project is 'Spectral Paradisis', a Downtempo/Chillout-Liveact where the sounds adapt to the atmosphere and the mood of the people. With two Laptops and different other musicians they play an improvised, 2-3 Hours set which changes on every show. Check it out @ www.myspace.com/spectralparadisis
I'm really good thanks. How are you? The rest of the trip was awesome, it felt really strange coming back to England though! I had 2 days to recover before i went back to work, still not got used to it again though. You played any more gigs recently?
Out-of-space.ch - the Swiss portal for Trip Hop and electronic music (published in German) - underwent a rigorous redesign. Well it's in German, but you still might want to have a look, check concert dates, leave a comment, link to our site (we will link back!) or drop us some news. You'll find all contact infos in the "about"-section.

Well, I'm usually always on Aim and MSN. I do have a skype account, but i don't have a mic with me in college. That's going to be another problem, I'll only be able to work on the song when I'm at my house during the weekends. I do have a 3 day weekend coming up though. Send me whatever you think will be good, all my contact info is on my DC page.
haha, man....You aren't the first to tell me I'm too self critical. I'd rather be like this than cocky though...I've just been like this forever. and I didn't mean any disrespect from that rich and famous comment...I think you know I respect you, lol.
No problem, I'm digging your tracks man. Your page looks screwed up in Opera, but don't worry I think I'm the only person on planet earth that uses that particular web browser.
Well, you are rich and famous...just buy me a ticket to Switzerland, and I'll come to your show. I'll probably just end up living there once I'm there too...so I'll just join the band;)
