In brief a metal machine.. just some of the words used to describe the talents of Sanctorum in recent years.
Sanctorum started life as ‘Devolution’ when in 2002 a group of friends forged the band from a common love of anything heavy, fast and loud.
Throughout 2003 they concentrated on writing original material and supporting local bands at gigs in the Colchester area culminating at the end of 2003 with a self financed 4 track debut EP CD entitled 'Penumbra'.
Throughout 2004/05 as 'Devolution' they continued to write and gig during which time 'Penumbra' received very positive reviews from many Webzines. In September 2005 ‘Devolution’ became ‘Sanctorum’ to avoid confusion with other bands of the same name.
Late in 2004 another fully self financed project started to take shape culminating in the album entitled ‘The Heavens Shall Burn’, released in 2006 - RE-released in 2007 through Casket Music.
The album was very positively received by the ‘Metal’ music press and online webzines with copies finding their way onto CD players across the globe. Due to the success of the album and their reputation for ‘jaw-droppingly accomplished’ live sets Sanctorum are gaining an ever increasing band of faithful followers to their brand of Metal.
To further build on their debut albums’ success Sanctorum recorded their follow up album during Feb. 2008 at Philia Studios with producer Dave Chang (Stampin’ Ground, earthtone9, Orange Goblin) at the helm.
The album entitled ‘Ashes of Redemption’ seeks to follow on where ‘The Heavens Shall Burn’ left off and further Sanctorums reputation for ‘relentlessly ferocious headbanging Metaaaaalll’ with ‘soaring solos’, ‘thunderous rhythms’ and ‘enough double kick for a trilogy of martial arts movies!’.

hey how are ya? Is everything going good for you? We've changed our band name recently, and just thought we'd let you know about it. We decided to change from KALEB to DETHONATOR, owing to the presence of other artists trading under the name KALEB. Our new band name DETHONATOR has been chosen to avoid confusion and to promote a brand that stands alone. Thank you for your continued support. Everyone at DETHONATOR

Great work at Bloodstock guys, every band that played unsigned behaved like true pro's and rocked out some real good stuff. A pleasure to have been involved.
No worries boys im glad I stayed too it was amazing. Bloody professional. If you need an engineer for anything just give me a shout. It would be a pleasure to work with you.
Hi Kris. Thank you for the comment. I hope you are well.
I’m sorry there’s nothing up for you to hear, but I’m recording in the studio and shooting videos, so nothing’s finished to the right standard yet.
It’s very important to me that I conduct myself in as professional a manner as possible. I don’t want to be accused of spamming and pestering people, so if you don’t want me to keep you posted of how things are going then please just send me a mail saying ‘no thanks’ and I promise I wont contact you again.
