Millions of little tiny dots all over your head will NEVER look like real hair. They will only look like millions of little tiny dots all over your head. No one will be fooled except you.
Sanctuary Tattoo is located at 31 FOREST AVE., That's just a half block down from Congress Street, in the Portland Theater Company Building. (where ZOOTS used to be) The best way to contact us is to CALL US AT THE SHOP! >>>277-828-8866<<<
COMING NEXT FALL!!
Off the Map Tattoo is proud to be co-hosting the Paradise Tattoo Gathering next October 23-26th. With over 35 amazing custom tattoo artists confirmed, we have over 3,000 tattoos in the TattooGathering.com website. Joe Capobianco, Nick Baxter, and Carson Hill we're the first artists to confirm seminars, and joining them is Mike Devries and Mike Demasi who will be teaming up to run a seminar on their color theory and how it applies to portrait and realistic tattooing. Brett from Pulse International Tattoo supply will be hosting a workshop on how to make tattoo machines run perfect for you. Bring them a machine and they will diagnose and tune it for you free.
We are excited (and honored) that tickets have already been sold and rooms have been booked and appointments already confirmed 10 months ahead of the event! While things are looking up, this is our first year so any linking, or reposting, or help getting the word out there is greatly appreciated!
For those of you who know, and those who don't; this is one of our craziest shows of the year.
EVERYONE is welcome to participate, so PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS!!
All work must be priced UNDER $200, but we will not be taking a commission, so all the money earned goes back to the artists.
You do not need to apply! Simply deliver your work to our studio (at 31 Forest Ave., Portland, Maine 04101) during the first week of December: Dec. 1st., 2nd., or 3rd ONLY! We cannot accept work any earlier or later.
All work must be READY TO HANG! That means framed with a wire, or some way that we can nail or pin it to the wall, if we can't hang it, we simply won't be able to (There were over 300 pieces in this show last year! it's a lot to handle...) We have limited space for sculptures, ceramics, and jewelry, but we will welcome everything we can fit in, so if yo have questions, please e-mail or call. If your work has special hanging requirements, be prepared to hang it your self.
If you have questions, please contact CHRIS DINGWELL chris@sanctuarytattoo.com
or LOREN LEAHY loren.leahy@gmail.com
or call the studio: 207-828-8866 and leave us a message with your phone number!!

We hoard them on myface and spacebook...maybe get double prints with borders...but we don't cherish the actual objects...it's the moment we cling to."

STRANGE MAINE - Some sort of crazy group show co-sponsored, and inspired by "STRANGE MAINE"... "Freaks. Weirdos. Unmapped roads. Whispering rocks. Deadening fog. Ghost pirates. Lonely islands. THINGS in the WOODS. Home of Stephen King & Glenn Chadbourne. A place where the 4 seasons really know how to live. Maine: the way life should be!" Curated by Loren Leahy, and Michelle Souliere.
