Sander May has been busy with electronical music since he was just a little kid. His musical taste and influences constantly evolved throughout the years. Sander started DJ’ing at the age of 16. After a whole year of listening records and visiting party's throughout the country, Sander slowly got in touch with techno while getting his inspiration from artists like; Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Speedy J and Chris Liebing. He started playing hard and dark techno stuff for a few years before he switched to a more minimalistic, housey sound. After teaming up with his friend and colleague Tom Noah in 2006, things really started to evolve. As a duo, Sander and Tom have had gigs all over Holland including; Free Your Mind festival, Riverdance, Rekord3r, Cocoon, Planet Rose, The City is Yours and in established clubs like Doornroosje, Tivoli, Studio 80, Nighttown, Catwalk, LVC and Gelredome.
In October 2004 Sander started his own concept “Complexed” which had many successful editions till date. Almost every important DJ in the Dutch techno scene had made their appearance on these parties. In September 2007 the concept was taken to the next level by turning it to a monthly initiative. Besides Complexed, Sander is also involved in other concepts such as the outdoor event KLIKK and the side-project “This is Complexed” together with the concept “This is Sick” from Fokko Versloot & Koen Lebens.
Recently, Sander and Tom had their first releases together with friend Fokko Versloot. The remix they did for the Napolitanzer track by Koen Lebens has conducted heavy rotation by the likes of; Karotte, Adam Beyer, Valentino Kanzyani, Bart Skils, Massi DL and Dave Ellesmere to name a few. Sander and Tom are currently working on new material. Expect some output in the nearby future. Over the years, Sander and Tom have shared the stage with many Nationally and Internationally acclaimed artists like; Ben Sims, Marco Bailey, Steve Rachmad, Andre Galluzzi, Joel Mull, Heiko Laux, Speedy J, Joris Voorn, The Advent, Valentino Kanzyani, Technasia, James Ruskin, Jerome, Bart Skils, Shinedoe, Dave Ellesmere, Secret Cinema, Estroe, Luke Slater, Lauhaus, David Labeij, Miss Djax, Luna City Express, Jason & The Argonauts, Wouter de Moor, Kabale Und Liebe and many more...
