About me:
I believe that Yeshua did not come to abolish the Old Covenant, and that as Jews we are still called to observe Jewish culture as described in the Bible because it has strong spiritual as well as physical meaning. I believe that Yeshua fulfilled the law by keeping it perfectly, and so therefore we are not bound by the law and are now under grace. However, this does not mean we can freely break whatever law we want, because we show our love to the L-rd by keeping his commandments which I believe is referring to more than just the big 10. Nevertheless, we do not have the temple so we are obligated to make atonement in another way until the Meshiach brings us the 3rd temple, and that is by accepting the final sacrifice given before the destruction of the 2nd temple: the death and resurrection of Yeshua HaMashiach. I believe we are still called to the covenant G-d has given our people, and the curses and blessings assigned to this covenant in Deu. 28 still apply to the Jewish people and their covenant with HaShem. Not only this but also Christianity has not replaced us, but Yeshua has made it possible so that all nations can now be redeemed and have a relationship with G-d, as well as that the Jews are now more and more becoming a light to the nations by spreading the news of the Jewish Messiah. That through our people G-d brought forth the Messiah to save the world if they should so choose to accept him through sincere faith and belief. With that said I believe that the Messiah is Yeshua (Jesus) the promised one through the line of David, and that Yeshua died for our sins, was resurrected, and will come again to accomplish the rest of what He promised i.e bring peace to the world as one example. I believe it is important that our fellow Jews come to know their Jewish Messiah because unfortunately it has become normal for Jews to not believe in Yeshua! We are told that believing in Jesus is a very non-Jewish thing to do when in fact Yeshua led a very Jewish lifestyle. Not to mention his first followers were Jewish and all the New Testament authors were Jews. However, this alone does not account for everything for there are over 70 Messianic prophecies in the Tanak that point to Yeshua as the Messiah. Many Jews claim these are fabrications or wishful thinking on the Christian's part. However, we cannot pick and choose what we believe is a fabrication in the Hebrew Bible just because it does not line up with our beliefs. Such claims of fabrication must be backed up with evidence, (or at least consideration of the others claims should be investigated before condemning or rejecting the others beliefs.) On the contrary it has been seen time and again that the manuscripts that have been found have been written with almost no scribal error. That the prophecies that point to Yeshua as the Messiah are based on scripture found in these manuscripts, and not some modern day watered down translation looking to deceive the Jewish people. This is a message which I sense strongly in my spirit to share (about the upcoming year 2010), for we are in the world, but not of it, & our celebration & joy must be rooted in Messiah & not the fallen, carnal nature. In continually waiting upon Him, He shall lift us up as "eagles" with renewed spiritual strength to consistently abide in the Spirit & soar with heavenly vision(perspective) & awareness as watchmen. Before going, I wanted to stop by your page & stir up the thoughts of Messiah, who is the fulfillment of all the ancient holy days, including the Festival of Dedication, Lights/Channukah. By the "oil" of the Ruach(Spirit) which continually keeps the sacred, divine Flame burning brightly in our "lamps", we shall shine forevermore throughout all the ages which are to come. HalleluYah!!! According to Isaiah 40:31 & other Scriptures, those who wait on our heavenly Abba will renew their strength & "mount up with wings as eagles", gaining spiritual endurance as well as the Power 2 overcome adversity in all areas of life, & tear through the veil of illusion which clouds the vision of this darkened world.
(Hebrews 12:1b) "let us also lay aside every weight & the sin which so easily entangles us, & let us run with endurance the race that is set before us..." Always remember that no matter how deep the darkness becomes in the near future, u have within urself access 2 the FULLness of the divine Ruach (Breath/Spirit) & that thru focusing on the Source from Whom u come, u shall find ur true Potential in which there are no limits as we are being transformed by the fires of purification into Something which our finite minds cannot fully image or conceive at this time. The process will NOT be pleasant, but the end results shall be GLORIOUS. HalleluYah!!! (see Romans 8:18)
