kustomkulturephoto.net	Jul 19 2008 10:56 AM OK, this was a tough one, so I am calling it a tie (my contest, my rules, and the complaint department was recently closed due to budget cuts), and awarding it to two lovely ladies.....Steely Jan and Isabelle Ringer (who is now a 2-time HOTW Winner). I like Steely's hit, as she is tiny, faster than poop through a goose, and knocked this poor lovely down as she was jamming past her. Now Izzy......unfortunately I did not get a good shot of her hit, but it was utterly DEVASTATING! The skater ended up with some frequent flier miles, and Izzy's facial expression says it all..... Watch soon for how to vote on Hit of the Year, and what kinda swag will be given away.......

Suck A Smurf, Do The Time	Jun 14 2008 9:59 PM At this point, while this may be cliche, I feel that it is a cliche that skaters would not grow tired of hearing. A friend of mine came to see her first bout a couple of weeks ago, and said what everybody I invite says, "I knew I was going to like it, but I had no idea that I would like it that much." What is different about this time was, "It was amazing. It was so exciting to watch. They made me... I don't know, want to get up and help. Go skate, or something." Not only are you inspiring people to watch, you are inspiring people to play. Great job.
