A LITTLE ABOUT US

Located at the intersection of Commerce and Market Streets in the heart of the Virginia Beach Town Center, the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts creates a dynamic cultural focal point for the city, and provides a place for arts in the community to thrive and prosper. The Sandler Center brings in renowned artists from across the globe, and it also provides a state-of-the-art home for several community arts organizations.

The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts was dedicated in November of 2007, and is now not only heralded as one of the region's most stunning structures, but also among the nation's most acoustically sound venues for the arts. Developed by renowned architects Philip Johnson and Alan Ritchie of New York and CMSS of Virginia Beach, the Center has become a shining community landmark that truly celebrates the arts.
