I have 3 delightful kids, twin boys, Isaiah Jamal and Noah Juwan, a Nubian princess named Kayla, and a Top Shelf hubby, Kenneth. I retired from the United States Air Force in 2001 after serving my country for 20 years. I lived and worked in some really beautiful places (March AFB, Riverside, California - 2 years; Lindsey Air Station, Wiesbaden, Germany - 6 years; Soesterberg Air Base, The Netherlands - 3 years; Aviano Air Base, Aviano, Italy - 2 years; Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, Texas - 2 years; Andrews Air Force Base, Morningside, Maryland - 5 years) and met some really incredible people that are still my friends today.Music
I love old skool music heavy on the Parliament, Funkadelics, Cameo, Maze, etc. My favorite male rhythm and blues artists are Robin Thicke, Donell Jones, and Rahsaan Patterson. My favorite female rhythm and blues artists are Chaka Khan, Tamia, and Joss Stone. I also love jazz artist Rachelle Ferrell who I was personally introduced to at the North Sea Jazz Festival held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Other jazz favorites are Kenny G., Najee, Kirk Whalum, Earl Klugh, and my oh my! Boney James.Movies
I love horror movies. My favorites are Bram Stoker's Dracula, The Cave, 30 Days of Night. My next favorite genre is comedies. I thought "Little Man" was hilarious!Television
My favorite shows to watch are mostly court shows, Judge Joe, Judge Alex, Judge Judy, Judge Lynn Toler. I also love comedies. Right now I'm really feeling "Chocolate News" and Martin Lawrence's "First Amendment Standup".Books
