About me:
Attention all artists: There are a lot of you that I have not heard from in a long time. I know, these are rough times and my company went through it to. But we are finallly where we wanted to be, in a position to help others come out of the dulldrums of this recession. Performing musicians, singers and bands please either re-contact me, or contact me. We are finally organizing these events to occur throughout the United States--All genres are needed.
In addition, Authors, we need you, too. People want entertainment, so this is the time to acquire publishing and sales of your book, poetry or even short story.

So, here is what I am doing to keep us going. I am presenting each artist on a single basis to industry people and venues. I am keeping my word. I am not going to let you all down.
In addition, I am still seeking the funding to get this program going. So anyone that is involved now, your contract date is going to carry you to working when the program does see a start.
You can help; if you know of a company that could sponsor an event, or venue that would house an event, a non-profit that needs out assistance-I beg you, contact me. I am not giving up on you, this program or anything that I stand for.

I am working day and night to make all this happen. Artists-we are gaining even more shows than I expected--Soon I am going to be posting the shows and who to expect to see in each show. In addition, I going to posting who we are going to be featuring in media interviews. What a great cause you are working toward.
On behalf of myself, as well as the other musicians I am working with (former members of "The Bay City Rollers", "Ambrosia" and "The Ides of March"), I want to tell you how excited we are to be able to help, in even a small way, in the effort to teach individual victims how to become survivors.
And if we can help financially support the organizations that work with these victims...well, that's absolutely just as as important. You really have set a fantastic goal. I'm just so happy that we can lend a song, or a "Live" performance that can help raise awareness. It truly is our pleasure. We can't wait to get things rolling!

Hello to all that are visiting my site:
First, I want to say that I hope that you are as excited about the future as I am. For many years I lived through nothing but hard times. Still reaching out of them. But finally I am seeing the light at the end of my tunnel showing through. Proudly, I do admit to having lasted in this crazy entertainment industry over 35 years. I started my career as a broadcaster and later became a promoter having worked with some of the greats in the business and promoted or worked on projects and events with some of the largest companies in the world.
In addition to working with artists of all types, I am finding the way to making a dream of mine come true. Many, many years ago I promised myself that I would somehow form a way to tell my story to victims of all types, as I have lived through events in my life that at times I thought would take my life from me. But I survived, showing me the chance to being able to bring my dream to life. Recently my book has been made available through amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com-The Remains of Hurricane Katrina. Understand that I am not trying to sell books as much am I am trying to share my story of survival. Too many victims give-up, for whatever reasons, which is why I am trying so hard to share my heart with them.
The Remains of Hurricane Katrina is not a book describing the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina as much as it is a life story told in story form through the eyes of a little girl. At the age of 45, I found myself without a home after Hurricane Katrina. That combined with the inner knowledge that New Orleans would not be an easy place to make a living due to the mass destruction, I re-located to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where I still live today. Yet, the abrupt uprooting helped to cause me to see past experiences that had been hidden within the depths of my mind, keeping me from being able to live a happy and normal life. These stories became the driving force of a goal which I have held close to my heart for many years. This goal is to use my broadcasting and public speaking experience to talk to victims of all types to help them learn that they can get through anything in life and live a happy life no matter what they have been through.
Initially, the book begins as I learn about the loss of my home to the flood waters of Hurricane Katrina and the beginning of my travels to my new home in S. Florida. To my surprise I broke a mirror on another car which shocked me into seeing the past events of my life through the eyes of a litte girl. Together we went through three hurricanes, traveled across the United States through many dangers, experienced childhood rape, the diminishing of self-confidence, the mental and physical abuse of spouses, the total loss of my home to a natural disaster to the final learning that I had to see these past events clearly to be able to live a complete and happy life. The book is written in story form to allow the reader to laugh and cry through these events as I want victims to learn that laughing helps as much as crying.
I, as the author of The Remains of Hurricane Katrina, am asking that you help me reach as many victims as possible because my goal is not how many books I can sell, it is how many lives I can positively affect with this story. If you have a group that you would like me to talk to, or work with a publication that can help by making it known that this story is available or are an outlet where the book can be made available, please contact me.
Or, if you are an artist of any type, do know that I am in the process of planning many events throughout the country(with soon publicity surrounding them) that I am going to be very much in need of entertainment for. Your services would not be volunteer-So any services that you could offer will help all involved. This is the time for all of us to work together, no matter who you are!!!!!!!!!
