About me: In my old life I was a kindergarten teacher. Now I'm an author of children's poetry, YA novels, chapter books, and picture books. My first picture book, GALLOP-O-GALLOP, was released in April 2007. Published by Dial Books for Young Readers, GALLOP-O-GALLOP is a beautiful horse poetry book for kids ages 4 through 104. Look for it on Amazon.com. My latest book, RIDING INVISIBLE, is a young adult novel about a fifteen year old boy who runs away on horseback to escape his brother, who suffers from conduct disorder. It will be released in Winter 2010. Oh, and one other important thing about me----I LOVE chocolate!
Who I'd like to meet: YA authors, picture book authors, writers, and . . . if she was alive, I'd love to sit down and chat with Baroness Karen Blixen.
Thank you for the well-wishes, Sandra! If you get a chance, come visit my site -- www.howtobuyaloveofreading.com -- and consider sharing a story there about how reading changed your life?
