Sandra was born in South London, England. She was the only girl among seven boys. Her parents were strict church-goers, so it was in the local Pentecostal Church her talent was discovered.
When she was just nine years old she was appointed lead singer of the church choir, and took part in many of the musical projects that took place.
At the age of fourteen she entered a local talent contest with a school friend, calling themselves 'Love & Unity'. Love & Unity performed a song written by Sandra named 'I Adore You'. Although being the youngest of the contestants, they triumphantly won the competition and accepted the winning prize which was to record the song in a recording studio and for it to be published and released by a local record producer.
Within weeks of its release, 'I Adore You' went straight to the number one position in the British reggae charts, and all the popular radio stations across Britain. It remained number one for four weeks.
Following their hit the group had three top five hits throughout the following year.
After the duo split two years later Sandra decided to go solo for short while until she met another producer called 'The Mad Professor', who at the time had just started a small record company. It was there she formed and all-girl band who called themselves 'The Wild Bunch'. The Wild Bunch released their first album, which entered the reggae album chart at No 20.
After a year of touring England and Europe the girls went their separate ways, leaving Sandra (yet again) making the decision to go solo.
In 1985 Sandra's first solo recording was released ( a rendition of the Stylistics' 'Country Living'). Exactly TWO WEEKS after release, Country Living flew straight to the number one spot! It remained number one for a stunning 10 WEEKS!
Her follow up single 'You're lying' repeated the success by reaching number on and staying there for four weeks.
Since then over 50 albums and singles have been released world-wide. She has successfully toured Europe, Japan and America. She was voted Britain's best reggae singer consecutively for SIX YEARS by the listeners of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporat ion) and countless radio stations and music organisations throughout the world.
In 1996, she recorded the first reggae/jazz album, Just A Dream, on Pioneer Records, a Japanese label like Teichiku. Sandra's latest recordings have appeared on SCM Records, an acronym for Sandra Cross Music.

This is just an example how easy people can be manipulated by Babylon System to become useful idiots.
Music is life and life is music. But how it is with commercial music? Can we still feel the joy of life there or does it only seem „cool“? Is it still art or just for useful idiots?
Fashion is by the brands. Imagine how many people agree to pay tooo much for clothes just for wearing brand-name clothes? I mean instead of pay so much for brands-name clothes they should rather get paid by the brands for the (unwanted?) publicity they do in the street;-) and that’s why I call them useful idiots.
In Europe many say that the US Americans are superficial while (almost?) everywhere in Europe US lifestyle (fahsion, commercial music etc.) is copied. How else could I define them if not as useful idiots? In fact all those who are not true but trying to be "cool" are useful idiots for Babylon System. Unfortunately most - very most - people living in this world are like that otherwise the system would not work like that...
