The exquisite virtuosity of Sandra Grant has impressed Luxury Cultural Tourism (L C T) to such an extent that
L C T (www.LuxuryCulturalTourism.com ) LUXURY CULTURAL MEDIA, have now featured her and placed her right at the very top of their london clubs page , which in itself only features the creme de la creme of London's best clubs.
So look out for her performance in some of these clubs in the very near future.
Sandra says: I am very honored and grateful for the recommendation given to me by (L C T) I know that to be placed on such a prestigious website as theirs is a testimony of my work.
WELCOME to the page of Sandra Grant, LadySaxophonist; a brilliant Saxophonist, Flautist and Vocalist hailing from Herts/North London!
From the growlin' on the Tenor Sax, to the smooth and sweetness in her Flute performances, she will knock your socks off right from the start!
It's not hard to see why the audience at her gigs push foward to see and listen to her; whether it's her raw and powerful improvisations on the Tenor Saxophone, the wild natured tones on the Alto Saxophone, or the organic sounding sweetness on the Flute...she WILL Blow Your Mind!!!!!
Probably the most amazing thing about this lady, is how she can cover any style of music ; (Jazz, Latin, Blues, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Calypso, Rock, Pop Asian, Irish,Gospel,Classical...)with such comfort and ease and then take it to the next level.
She has appeared on television too, including Top of the Pops, Terry Wogan, Blue Peter and was also the resident soloist on Channel 5's Club Class!
Amongst that, Sandra has toured all over the UK, Germany, France, Japan, Holland, Denmark, Hungary, the Caribbean and the USA (including a series of concerts in New York).
She has performed and recorded with The Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra, The Kushite Jazz Quartet and The Brainwash, (Hungarian band, which she was co-writer and lead vocalist).
...and with all that under her belt, she is an extremley grounded and approachable musician, so if you want to get in touch, do so!
Sandra's CD album, "She'll Blow Your Mind...with Jazz in Blues!", is out NOW..A compilation of eight self-penned tracks, ranging from Jazz, Rock to Blues and Soul!
Sandra,LadySaxophonist recently performed with number 1 Soul artists; Cloud 9, on May 25th at the Bernie Grant Art's Centre.
She also headlined at three Music and Arts Festivals; The East Barnet Music Festival on the 5th July 2008. The Hitchin Festival (Rhythms of The World) on the 12th July 2008. The Luton Summer Festival on the 22nd August 2008.
A Saxophonist, Flautist and Vocalist, Sandra Grant IS the triple-threat...get in line for your CD!

Sandra, You are Double Down With It in the Way you Play those Horns -& yes, Blow the Mind as Well! In my ear, your sounds mingle with those of my former friend, Pony Poindexter -with that spirit of Soul in the Saxophone! -AwRight, Sandra! -Blue Brown!
Long time no hear! Just swinging by to say hi and hope you're having a great week. Swing by to my page sometime soon and let me know you are. In the meantime take care! D
hi sandra.i believe the venue was the coach house in fishguard. We eventually stayed the night there and it would have been great to catch up with you for a coffee the next morning.Next time eh.I..ll be sending my address for the cd soon.take care
I mainly grew up playing in the black community but the bands were dominated by electric guitar, bass and drums because they were loud enough with their equipment. I never listened to much rock except what was on the airways and there was more of it as we got our music from larger cities relatives. On the job I heard country and then metal and found a lot I liked and wondered what a sax would sound like and some did not 'need' sax. I sometimes get mad if I hear something I like and want to learn it no matter what style. Some things I like I have no interest in playing like European Classical, but your track sounds as the horn was in on the ground floor and belongs in the tune. Of course I have heard jazz artists do covers of rock and vice versa. I could listen to a whole album of your playing in that rock or metal concept and like the genuine feeling you have for your music. It shows you can play in any context of improvised? music! ROCK ON LADY I WILL BE LISTENING-kev
Thanks for the lovely comments sandra, they are very much appreciated. Its geat having such a talented friend. My only regret that night is you never jumped up for a jam...Next time eh
Oh nice flute on the Horror thing! I was wondering why the guitar had so much play but then when I heard the flute I though 'cool' everyone is equal in your music. This is uncommon in 'pop' or 'dance' styles. I kinda like some metal and have worked with a guy who came from that but does more a 'new age' thing. I like the sax in rock and wish more groups would use sax although I do not listen to much. I played a litte guitar and a lot of bass but not much rock but I do respect it.- kev
