Sandra featured in Jay-J's new mix compilation RE:SOULED Vol. 2
The long awaited second installment of the compilation series, Re:Souled, from House legend Jay-J is available. Part album, part Mixed CD, Vol. 2 features Jay-J’s favorite funky, soulful & sexy remixes and productions from the past 2 years. Featuring music from Chuck Love, HiFi Mike, Random Soul, Martin East, Deep Josh, Pete Moss, Ronan and Sandra Lima, this comp cd delivers everything you’ve come to expect from Jay-J and more!
Part 2 of the "Higher" remixes has dropped. In this package we get a tougher harder remix from the man of Hermosa Recordings himself, Justin Michael. Justin is known for his soulful productions and remixes but he did something a little different this time. Very "Big Room" a la Yass and Denis Ferrer. Also in the remix duties is Los Angele's based DJ and Producer Torin Rea of the West Coast Collective. His Soul Rub remix brings a complete new funky vibe to "Higher". To round it all off we have Pesto's head honcho, Jon Silva, with additional remixes and DJ Tools.

With huge support from House jocks, radio stations and tastemakers all over, we were able to place this massive summer tune on a couple of upcoming compilations already. Raisani Miami Sessions (Dubai), Ibiza Global Radio, Open Bar (NYC) and Clubstar/Soulstar (Germany) - they all had a reason to put "Higher" in their mixes.
Finally, Sandra's debut on Pesto is happening and here are six reasons to look forward to the outdoor season: DeepHouse icon Jay-J contributes two smashing mixes, Jon Silva adds some mid-90ies flavour and The Mulder is pleasing us with his top-notch DeepTech sound. This is the sound of the summer 2008!

Barcoda present an uplifting tune perfect for those warm summer nights with "Divine love" by White Caviare, with a passionate vocal supplied by Sandra Lima. The main version is a classy affair featuring a lovely flute alongside melodic keys over an old-school flavored groove. The 'Live Dub' is an organic affair built around stompin' beats that serve as base for the keys and vocals, while the 'November Remix' is a funked-up affair spiced with disco flavors. The 'Deep Headz' mixes take things to deeper grounds with stormin' beats and a wicked organ leading the way for the vocals and flute. Remixes come courtey of MoD who fire things up on their funktified reworking that features great keys and spreads an uplifting feeling, while Central Avenue's interpretation relaxes things with melodic keys and classic strings over a laidback backing groove.
Sandra Lima shares her love through music. She uses her music as a method of healing for herself and those who will listen. As she laces you with her smooth, sultry voice, her playful lyrics will resonate with and uplift your state of mind.
As a young girl, Sandra discovered dance music brought light to every moment as well as her every footstep. By dancing with her mother in the living room to disco and salsa, she found music brought solace and a release that could defeat the most painful of moments, if even for the briefest time. Naturally, she embraced all genres of music as they were introduced into her life. It was around the age of 12 that she joined the choir and found the warmth of gospel music. It influences her soulful sound to this day.
While Sandra continues to evolve as a singer/songwriter, she has already begun to make an impact on the world of music and television. Her songs have been featured in shows such as: CBS’s Grapevine, HBO’s Resurrection Blvd, Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Girl, CW’s America’s Next Top Model and USA Network’s Tough Enough. Her song "Lover", was debuted on the television remake of Stephen King’s horror masterpiece, "Carrie".
Most recently, Sandra has focused on composing deep house grooves that allow her to imbue more soul into her melodies. These projects include collaborations with talented producers, Thomas White of Natural Rhythm and Jon Silva of Pesto Recordings. Sold worldwide, her vocals can also be found on albums such as Ian Pooley’s "A Subterranean Soundtrack" and Large Music’s "Large Grooves 3". We can look forward to more of Sandra’s special style of love as she is continually translating her cadence of life through her offering of song.
Originating from the shores of the Lake Constance, Gabriel Creole has moved to Stuttgart in south western Germany to develop his vision of being an influential DJ and producer.
After remixes for Cocoon's Patrick Zigon and tunes on compilations on Tanzbar and Combi Int., it was the right time to fire up his debut single. We are proud that our latest sublabel addition Clear Recordings is the home of said EP.
CR003, the "Looking Beyond" EP comes with three original tunes: "Looking Beyond", "Away" and "Straight Ahead" that will get you going if a minimal approach to TechHouse is your cup of tea.
