well, people think SEIZE sounds like: Kosheen, Hybrid, BT, Delerium...
But regarding my voice, some say it sounds a bit like: Dido, Alison Goldfrapp.... best to listen to my demo....

SANDRINE is a French girl born in Nantes [Brittany/France] 'I studied fashion design for 6 years. I moved to London in 1994 to pursue my career in fashion but was soon disappointed by the result, so decided to launch myself into my 2nd passion. MUSIC ! And never looked back! [I'm still a fashion addict, so I'll eventually get back into design]_
My 1st experience was as a singer of an Indie band called PICTURE CENTER created by the ex Field Mice drummer Mark Dobson, and his younger brother Dominic. We did few gigs around London and recorded two EPs and one album.
I then felt the urge to compose my own music, so joined Pascal Jesset, a French musician, in 95 and started working on some Electronica tracks under the name of Carpe Diem. Pascal decided a year and a half later to stop composing music to become a father. I had to start looking for a new member to work with, and met Steven Young in 97 who took over the music production of the Carpe Diem. As a duo, we did a few gigs around London and the UK, and then decided to change the name to Seize The Day, then finally SEIZE. Im now the lead singer of the Electro/Break beat band SEIZE. You can also find on http://www.myspace.com/seize. Later we got on board Rosie Harris to play live keyboards and BVs, and now she also plays live bass guitar. Finally at the end of last year, Sean Suleman, asked us to join our band to play drums.
SEIZE now has 4 members [Sandrine+Rosie+Steven+Sean]. and we are London and Bristol based now. We often perform in Europe and Germany where our biggest fan base is !! :o].We do very few in the UK sadly, but this will change as soon as we find the perfect booking agent!!
We also do remixes for various artists and are currently working on our 3rd album.
Recently we have also been collaborating with Steve Strange of Visage, and did few shows in Europe last year.
In 99 Steven and I created a side project called Spermwhale. We wanted to do a Dark side of SEIZE, influenced by the likes of Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode and The Chemicals Brothers We did few gigs in the UK and Germany, then changed the name to O.V.N.I. As you can see I'm passionate about music and song writing. I put all my heart into my no. 1 love: MUSIC!! Music always comes first I keep saying.
I'm working hard to take my passion to the next level, and have been collaborating with international djs and producers [I will soon add some of my favourite collaborations] and Im still looking for the perfect collaboration until now. I'm very open-minded about music collaborations and live life to the full!
