Sandwalker has been around the music scene for about 14 years. all members are from the the Greenville area. Tracey Walker(vocals), who has been in many bands in the area and worked also in past projects such as NOTICE with Michael Perdue and Doug Williams(drums) and Crisis prior to that with Phil Fetters, Kent Marcum and Tom Partin, just to mention a few. In 1993 Walker decided to give up the cover band music scene and focus on an original project with guitarist Adam Sando. They wrote some songs together and recorded at ICB studios. Walker decided to call the project Sandwalker.
The band was not complete and could not play live with out a bassist and drummer. Tracey met with Larry Suarez(drummer) and Bill Warner(bassist)which joined the duo immediately. There first album THE SEARCH was completed and put on cassette. One year later Larry Suarez went to Nashville to work with another band and then Bo Felts(drummer) who now plays with ELEMENT in Dayton, joined. Adam did not feel he wanted to play out as much, due to family obligations and departure was necessary. Later Bo left, which Doug Williams of MADEWELL and NOTICE soon joined.
The band did their second Album KINDER NATION and played locally for another 5 years, until Doug could not continue, due to his job. Jon Menger from the Band AXSENT then joined. After a year the band decided to take a break and continue with other projects.
Michael and Jon formed the band BLIND THERORY with Jay Lutmer, now of Alison Ditch.
Bill Warner and Tracey Walker went on to form Two feet Shy. Two feet Shy played in the area for a couple of years and soon had to replace the drummer and guitarist. Jon Menger took over on drums and soon the members were connected with MIchael Perdue and decided it would be best to go on as the resurrected SANDWALKER.
Sandwalker plays music from the 80's, 90's and today. Entertainment includes Comic relief as well as straight edge rock from artist including Fuel, Audio Slave, Billy Squier, Shinedown, Collective, Soul, Live, Better than Ezra, Led Zepplin,Iron maiden, Queensryche, Black Sabbath, Inxs, Blonde, ACDC, White Zombie and originals from SANDWALKER.
