San Froyd officially became the band it is now in January 2006 where we entered Carling O'Neills Battle of the Bands. Having only been together for a resonably short time we won heat by heat and eventually reached the Preston final. In many of these heats the band had several injuries involving the bass player (special k) having to play with a broken hand. Writing this bio is proving challenging due to pre and post gig consumption of booze. Much is a blur, however we reached the regional final held in Liverpool. Unfortunately we were screwed before we started. Nethertheless we still played a cracking gig and recieved free tickets to Carling Leeds Festival. Due to this we actually played a small set at Leeds Fest, good shit. Since we started we have a regular gig every week at O'Neills preston, and monthly in Liverpool. Recently, we've been going from strength to strength with gigs in Wales, Cumbria and all over the North West. Were the opening act for a new music venue in Atherton called Decibel, which looks like it may become one of the North West's premium music venue's. Most recently, we've progressed to the final of The Venue Battle of the Bands, and are looking forward to the conclusion of a fantastic competition.
