I was born in Los Angeles, Calif.(1944)from a Louisiana Family and raised by a Mother, and a Grandmother and 3 Great Aunts to whom I attribute my Early Spiritual Awareness.-----
I have studied and practiced in Banking, Medicine and the Law, but I found that My Destiny was in the Practice and Teachings of the Traditional West African FON / YORUBA Culture / Priesthood. I have been practicing My Culture for over 40yrs., and have been an Initiated Priestess for over 33yrs.(1974).
As a Priestess, I also give Readings and Counseling,
and Do Work's(Ebo), using the arm of "IFA" called Merindinlogun.-----
As "SOSI" I am also an Artist, and My Spiritual Art (Paintings) can be seen in many Homes and Shrines from Florida to California, and in The VILLAGE Of OYOTUNJI, in Sheldon, So. Carolina, Beaufort County U.S.A.--------
I am also a Published Author, My Books "THE CULT OF SANGO"
and "RITES OF PASSAGE / Psychology of Female Power" have been Well Received all over the U.S., Caribbean, and the U.K.
My Book "RITES OF PASSAGE/Psychology of Female Power" deals with the Training, Enlightenment and Education of Girls and Young Women, and the Empowerment of ALL Women.
It is a Manual for Young African-American Women, Medicine Women, Priestesses and more Mature Women of Spirit.
I give Lectures on Rites of Passage Training for young Girls and Young Women, and on The Psychology of Female Power for ALL Women who need to Understand That Power,
and how to Use It for The Betterment of Their Families, Themselves, Their Communities, and Especially for The Children of The Future.-----
My Newest Book(Feb.2007), "THE GODDESSES: Psychology of Female Power" Part II, is My Work on GLORIFYING The FEMALE FORCES, The "GREAT MOTHERS", and The Divinities "OSUN", "YEMOJA", and "OYA", and some of Their Counterparts in other parts of The World (India, China, Greece, Scandinavia, Japan, The Two Americas, etc.).
My Work is focused on The Spirituality and The Phychology Of WOMAN.
