BooksI love reading. I'm steadily amassing quite a good little library, occassionally upgrading my bookshelf for something bigger. Literature rocks...

I'm obsessed with Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.

I love Gothic literature - particularly the more sensationalist, trashy classics like The Monk. Nothing makes for a good read like a rapist monk enlisting the powers of the devil to corrupt under-age virgins. Less of 'the sublime', more of the sex and death.

I adore Salman Rushdie's writing style. I own every single one of his novels.

* * *

I secretly indulge in utterly tasteless schlock horror gore, like Graham Masterson and Shaun Hutson. Flesh-eating zombie slugs? Yes please.

H.P. Lovecraft's work still sends shivers up my spine and makes me pull the duvet over my head if I'm sleeping alone. His writings are the stuff of nightmares, and I can't get enough.

I'm seriously obsessed with Pratchett's Discworld series. I'm not kidding.

Ian McEwan's novels have been known to make my cry about the characters for days after I've finished the book. Beautifully emotive writing.

I love graphic novels, but hate the price.

I intend to one day own the full Akira series and display them all proudly on a shelf. Occassionally I will bring people round and then gloat immensely. No bending the spine though. Erk. It holds the death penalty in my world. Alongside bending the pages to mark your place. *cringe* *twitch*

Roman Dirge is not only a brilliant artist with a wicked sense of humour, but he's hot and heavily tattooed aswell. What's not to love? Without him, there would be no Lenore.

OK, let's start with the basics. I'm Sarah. I'm 25, but still around 17 on the inside. I am generally a happy person ^_^ I was born in June and thus am a Gemini, meaning that I am manipulative, witty, two-faced, greedy, friendly, talkative, lazy, creative and impulsive. Some of these facts are true. I'll let you decide which.

I've recently run away from my home town Lancaster to live in the centre of Manchester. No real reason why, other than the belief that there has to be more to life than Lancaster. So if you happen to see me looking a little lost and lonely, come say hi - I don't know many people round Mancland...yet.

I have a degree in English Literature. I am good at it. But I'm not much good at any other subjects. Do not ask me about Geography, Maths, Science, Foreign languages...infact, don't ask me about anything that isn't Art or English, as I will reveal my true colours as a natural blonde, and a natural air-head. >_<

I used to work at The Pub in Lancaster. Serving beer to bikers whilst listening to live bands was ace, and I loved my job more than anyone should be allowed to. I miss The Pub and its many weird and wonderful denizens lots and have so many awesome and bizarre memories from there ^_^

I go out drinking and dancing a lot...and generally fall over. I always try and blame it on the pavement, my platforms, my natural clumsiness or other people...but the cold hard truth is that I just can't balance very well when I'm drunk...so if you see me on the floor, do the decent thing and help me up.

My biggest secret is that I'm actually very SHY. I'm just very good at hiding it.

I'm seriously needle-phobic...yet I have my ears and tongue pierced, my lip pierced three times and two tattoos. Go figure. I never promised I'd make sense.

I like boys, even though they often confuse me; and I like girls, because they're prettier than boys.

* * *

Vodka makes me reckless and irresponsible. Gin makes me cry. Sailor Jerry's makes me happy and relaxed. VK Cherry makes me hyper. Baileys makes me sleepy and affectionate. Tequila does NOT make me happy. Southern Comfort makes me violent O_o White wine makes me talkative and giggly...then horny...then completely erases my memory :S

I'm not as tall as I look, I just have this bizarre obsession with platforms and stilettos. You will never find me in a pair of flats.

Sometimes it takes me ages to get back to people. I'm not being rude or ignoring you...I'm just ditzy as fuck and work odd hours >_<

Whilst I will quite happily nearly wet myself laughing at the most simple and inane of things, I also have a very dry sense of humour. Don't take me too seriously ;)

But most importantly, mine's a double Tia Maria with fresh orange with ice and a straw, or a double Sailor Jerry and coke with a dash of lime if you've got the cash. Thanks in advance.

jirachi wasnt that good from what i remember but mew was cool cos he could learn any of them tm thingies like flash/cut/fly whatever so i used to give him 4 of them and make him my multi use pokemon so i could have whoever else in my team

i think i should get to bother you sometime either on msn or in person :P
i remember ages ago i used to have 2 gameboys and a cable with bothe versions of pokemon so i traded my entire team across to level them up way faster
but they kept getting there asses kicked cos they kept ignoring my commands it sucked
but i used to have jirachi and mew i so should have kept them cartridges as they were the proper nintendo roadshow versions not crappy hacks or whatever
