San Japan, LLC is a not-for-profit organization tasked with operating a yearly Japanese culture and anime convention to provide high-quality education and entertainment for our attendees in a safe and fun environment, and to promote the acceptance and appreciation of the anime fandom in the mid-South and throughout the country as a whole. The inaugural convention is to be held in San Antonio, Texas.
Mission Statement: We, the staff of San Japan, are here to serve three purposes. Our first purpose is to bring Japanese cultural awareness to San Antonio through panels and workshops. Our second purpose is to bring international awareness through video and panels. Our third purpose is to make a strong community between the attendees and staff and keep lines of communication open.

San Japan, to be sponsored by AnimeFunTV, will be putting on an AMV Contest this year. We are now taking submissions if you want to show off your AMV Skills. Check out the AMV Contest page for all the information and rules. Good Luck!

Pre-registration
The following options are available for Pre-Registering attendees for our next convention 3-Day Pass:
o $30 - Early Pre-Registration - From Nov. 1st until Dec. 31st, 2009
o $35 - 2nd Tier Pre-Registration - Jan. 1st 2010 to March 31st, 2010
o $40 - Last registration Tier - April 1st to June 10th, 2010
VIP Passes will be available at the convention which includes guarantee first in line for cosplay and concerts, autographed badges, a goodies bag of free stuff, a convention t-shirt and your chance to have lunch with the guests. VIP Passes will be $45 and only available at the convention. You must purchase a regular 3-Day pass in order to be able to purchase a VIP Pass. Registration is NOT open at this moment.
The following membership options will be available only at the door:
* One-Day Membership:
o $30 Friday (Adult)
o $30 Saturday (Adult)
o $20 Sunday (Adult)
o $20 Age 5-12 [Friday/Saturday] - $10 Sunday
o $25 Age 5-12 3-Day Pass
o $35 Parent Pass For Accompany Child 3-Day Pass / $25 Day Pass (Parent Pass Required)
o FREE - Age 4 & Under
Each pass allows access to most events, as long as space is available. San Japan reserves the right to limit entrance to or seating at any event due to safety codes of the hotel, city and state.
We are accepting volunteers! If you would like to volunteer for San Japan, we would like your help. To apply you need to pay $20 but if you work the required hours you will received a $30 voucher in the dealer's room.

We are San Japan, a major anime convention happening in San Antonio, Texas. This MySpace is maintained by the San Japan staff members and is solely meant to be an easy way to keep you informed about the San Japan convention.
Anime Secrets is hosting the second annual Halloween Cosplay Contest! Also returning to help us pull off this event is Funimation, who were our sponsors last year, and provided boxsets to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The contest is fairly simple. Email you in your cosplay no later then November 6th, 2009, and wait for results. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain!
