I have been playing music for a while I guess. In bands, in studios, on stage, in prison - you know the usual stuff, but most importantly with friends. I think what I've learnt through all of it is not just about beats and chords, but about people. I have to say this is a deep moment of realisation. Music is great, but there's much bigger things going on in life - well in my life there is - which kinda defeats most of what I do day-to-day! Maybe I need a new plan in life? Or maybe life without my own plan is a better life? I've realised, just now it seems, my life is not my own.
