Browse our television program and series DVDs here. Is there a television series you'd like us to buy? About me:
Our Libraries
The San Mateo County Library is a system of 12 libraries in San Mateo County. We have branches in Atherton, Belmont, Brisbane, East Palo Alto, Foster City, Half Moon Bay, Millbrae, Pacifica-Sanchez, Pacfica-Sharp Park, Portola Valley, San Carlos, and Woodside. Our Bookmobile delivers books all over the more rural parts of the County!

Have a question and need it answered? Chat with us through MySpace (look over there on the left) or use AskNow, a live online chat service (in English & Spanish) that connects you with a real live librarian!
Need help with your homework? Use Live Homework Help, another live online chat service (in English & Spanish), but this one connects you with a professional tutor who is an expert in the subject you need help with! This service is only available to San Mateo County Library jurisdiction residents. Check with a friendly local librarian if you're unsure of your residence status. If you're not a resident, check your own library's website--they might have it too!
Both of these services are paid for by the San Mateo County Library--so you don't have to pay yourself!
If you're doing research of any kind, you should check out our Online Resources Page, with links to dozens of subscription resources that the library pays for so you don't have to. SMCL has online databases with biographies, homework help resources for every grade level, eBooks, health information, history and science resources, and thousands of popular online magazines and newspapers that you normally have to pay to access...all courtesy of your local library. All you need is your library card to log in. This service is only available to San Mateo County Library jurisdiction residents. Check with a friendly local librarian if you're unsure of your residence status.

Local authors and bands are also welcome!
