If you hear it and comprehend, then you'll see it and perceive it. I love a Jazz song with Hip Hop flavor, or Hip Hop with a mellow sound. I got the love for Jazz from my grandparents and when I hear it, any type of smooth music with ambiance, it puts me in the right mood, on a different plain of reality. I feel dizzy, sleepy but not tired, and my body tickles. I see the colors of orange, purple, green, turquoise, and cream. The world moves to fast. People don't live life one step at a time anymore. I make music because I love it. It seems like most people now days get into music for the money, thats what I'm not about. Money is a big issue to me when referring to music. Making money for doing something that I love would be ideal, but I would put my love for it before getting paid, that's just how I am. Rap now days is getting way out of hand.Not everyone can be good with music and thats the bottom line. I've met many people that fit that criteria (no dis to them) and do it for the sake of being "in" because it some how is turning into a trend. I basically hate posers. You shouldn't feel the need to impress people with something you don't have the love and dedication for, and I'm not just talking about music, I'm speaking of anything. Do something that you love. Impress yourself with what you love and what you can accomplish, rather than trying to impress others. I make music to express who I am, how I feel, and what I am thinking. I do it to escape when I need it and let my imagination wonder free, endlessly. Most of the time, I'm very bad with words and at speaking my mind, so I speak through music. So if you listen deeply to what I have created, then you hear what I'm saying. They call it "hip hop" but I call it "a broken record." I don't doubt if there is 3 different songs that you hear on the radio that speak of the same things. Mainstream Hip Hop needs to mature. Mainstream music in general needs to be passionate and needs to stop the apprehension of greed, and desire of fame. Mainstream music is only good for the club and to dance to and should not be listened to on a daily basis. All of this is my opinion, so you can't tell me if I'm wrong, yet, I cannot say that I am right. Everyone should find their own taste in music and separate from the norm, to be different, be themselves. Support independent music.
