I'm Finnish singer/songwriter called Sansa. My first album was released in 2005 by Warner. After releasing the first album, I realized I wasn't on the confortable zone as a songwriter, therefore I needed to take time off and concentrate on the process of writing, since I desired to make music for the long haul. My path with Warner ended in 2006.
When you close one door, there's always another to open! For me this was exciting and refreshing but also quite scary change. The last couple of years I have spent improving my writing, playing and searchin for my own peculiar path. Sure there have been days when I've fallen into the deepest ravine of oblivion and days when I've surfed on the most serene sea of enlightenment... :) But that's the way life goes; up's and down's make it more haunting.
Along the past years I have had the honour to support artists and bands such as Katie Melua, Robert Plant, Bryan Adams and Genesis. I have also written songs for other Finnish artists and featured on several compilation albums.
In the beginning of 2009 I got signed by Texicalli Records. At the moment I'm working on my upcoming album due out in October 2009. I'll head into the studio during the summer. I'm excited, happy and full of healthy trust on the songs. The album will set its roots into rhythmic, acoustic and folky ground. The songs will be arranged around my guitar accompaniment and vocals.
Although I was drawn into the world of sounds and music already when I was a teen, it was not before I turned 20 that I started to play music more seriously. I started to study music and listened to an inspiring artists and bands. I love simple blues, all kind of jazz, soulful folk/pop/soul, Finnish good old folkie, Mozart, Tormis and Debussy and I even operettos. I get inspired by life in general: people, countries, movies, nature and sudden encounters.

Constructed as a twisting, bounding, spiraling adventure through the minds of these two talented producers, ‘Branes’ consistantly grows in attitude and involvement: years of dancefloor adventures are clearly etched into the basslines and leads that emanate from each and every track, including the epic Weird, Sick & Twisted remix that has already been tearing up dancefloors across the world! Cutting-edge production and depth of emotion makes this debut offering from M-Theory destined to redefine your world!

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
