About me: This page is run by Hydro Mike and Dan B. We are not affiliated with the city. This page was originally designed to unite the skaters of Santa Clarita in our efforts to keep the old skatepark (1998-2008) open until the new skatepark was completed. We were originally facing a downtime with no skatepark in Santa Clarita for 9 months leaving hundreds of kids with no legal place to skate in Santa Clarita. The city listened to us and was able to shorten the downtime to 4 months and also proposed city provided transportation to skateparks outside of our valley. This compromise worked great and we are now working closely with the parks & rec group on a volunteer basis. This page now serves as a forum for local skaters to get info, view pics and video on the park.
On March 27th, the city opened our new 40,000 sq foot skatepark designed with community input from local skaters/bikers and lead designer, Kanten Russel of Site Design, built by California Skateparks. The park features a half pipe tunnel, huge bowls, brick planters and banks, sloped ditch and numbers of other plaza features that make this park one of a kind.

Hours are Mon-Fri 12 pm - 9 pm, Sat/Sun 8 am - 9 pm.

The Skatepark Directory is trying to organize a "Skatepark-a-Day" Tour where they visit 1 per day for 365 days! At each stop they'll film, take photos, give out sponsor given products, and shoot a video review of that skatepark.
