For 4 years now Wham City has been organizing the WHARTSCAPE. What started as a summer warehouse party turned into a much bigger, multi-day outdoor festival with thousands of bands, performers, and folks traveling to Baltimore from all across the US and Europe.
Since, we organize this festival out of pocket and in our spare time, it is important for us to keep it comfortable and enjoyable for us to do. One thing we talked about at the end of last year’s festival was shrinking it down slightly and having it feel more community based and familiar.
This year isn’t focused around headliners, but mainly performers and friends that make up the community we tour, work and live in.

We are also greatly reducing the number of MEGA-PASSES (the ticket that grants you entry to every show and every day).
ONLY 300 Mega-Passes will be sold; this is the only guarantee that you can see all the shows.
Tickets will be sold to the individual shows, but it is strongly suggested that you buy a Mega-Pass, as it saves you money and assures you take in the entire poo-poo...
Whartscape will take place July 10-11-12 at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Maryland Institute College of Art Studio Center Parking Lot, and Load of Fun.

~~~IMPORTANT TICKET INFO (PLEASE READ!!):~~~
Only the Mega-Pass guarantees entrance to the nighttime events at Load of Fun, which has a much smaller occupancy than the MICA parking lot. Anyone without a Mega-Pass will get in on a first come, first serve basis. There is a very strong likely hood we will sell out of Mega-Passes, which will mean the nighttime portion is also sold out.
The strength of the mega-pass is truly mega.

"We, The Santa Dads, create music through voice, multivocular technique, ukulele, trumpet, and the occasional french horn and organ. We create to express our philosophical, metaphysical, scientific, and religious understandings; more specifically, our perceptions, conceptions, and experience of existence, time, information, and the spirits. Namely, we are Joshua Kelberman & Connor Kizer.
We are based in Baltimore, MD and are founding members of Wham City, a friendly collective of artists. Since April 2005, we have played numerous shows in Baltimore and have toured repeatedly throughout the east, west, north, and south of the United States with Dan Deacon, Video Hippos, OCDJ, Blood Baby, and Ecstatic Sunshine.

We are eternal, immortal beings of soul and spirit granted with infinite transformations of birth and death to experience the ecstatic revery of dancing in the energies. Respect and adore the Spirit of Death; It deserves our love and tolerance and has a right to existence and to perform It's given duty, just as we do. please do not fear the internationalism foreshadowed below. the world will unite. though it seems it is "evil" who holds the power, this is a veil. "evil" is doing the work that good cannot do, but it will be overcome by good once it's mission is fulfilled. the unification of all nations is inevitable and beautiful. it does not mean the end of individuality, but a release from national servitude and a step towards a global human looking out to the cosmos, united in body, soul, and spirit with all humans. this is but the first wave, which due to the climate of our times must happen through economics and the military for these are the two most powerful forces on our planet capable of enacting such earthly changes. if we keep our souls, spirits, hearts, and minds free and empower ourselves with love, understanding, and tolerance, this, our ideology of goodness and love for all in the cosmos, will prevail once the earthly devils of the world do their job and destroy the borders. there will be much death and destruction, but from a higher view, this is only the necessary sloughing of dead skin, a transformation. these politicians and world leaders are in essence committing "slash and burn" on a global scale. the old must die to create the new. let them commit the necessary violence of birth(death). in the meantime we can transform the interiors of human beings through peaceful resistance and ennoblement of our souls. we all possess, in our spirit, something they will never access unless we let them in. fear is allowing them to control us inside. stay strong, brothers and sisters, the war is only a veil that surrounds us; we hurt if we let it inside us. this is not to say that one shouldn't speak out against violence and brainwashing control, but only to be wary of carrying their message of fear. WE NEED MESSAGES OF SELF-EMPOWERMENT AND STRENGTH OF SOUL; NOT FEARFUL, PARANOID WARNINGS. THIS CHANGE IS NECESSARILY DRASTIC AND PAINFUL.
