Juan and Miguel Celi are stubborn. For over 10 years have given their time and life to electronic music, despite the lack of dissemination and space for this genre. "We went against the satisfactions obtained but this time have been enough," says Miguel.
In 2004, these musicians are the first band of Ecuador Lounge: Santana Chill Out Café. Which currently is comprised of brothers Miguel, Juano and Bruno Celi, plus Danilo Castro, who experience the fusion of electronic music (down tempo, deep house, trip hop, drum 'n' bass and industrial), with bolero, the music rocolera, yaraví and bossa nova.
The band was born in Ambato, Ecuador on 2 004 projects, and after several e-groups led by Juan: Sexual Chocolate (1 999), Reptiles (2 001) and Kristo Transistor (2 002)
The band has more than 20 songs and own reversals. Also collaborations with Pepita Naranjo Vargas in electrobolero "No me conoces" and new versions of songs by Caetano Veloso Sin, Pecado, Pan de Pinllo A Bolero for you. They also created the song "Mi enfermedad", a tribute to the club along Macará with Patricio Edmundo Mantilla.
Besides the Santana Chill Out Café made the remix of the song ByPass Alicia Se Tir{o Por el Parabrisas, threw herself from the group through the windshield.
Why is so called band? "Because Santana Chill Out Café is managed in a pub lounge beyond our grandfather Mario Santana, who was a drummer in a night club, and was cousin and best friend Rogelio Ramos, the Creator of Loaf song Pinllo," says Juan.
The Santana Chill Out Café are influenced by the electronics of the old school (Underworld, Orbital, Kraftwerk, The Future Sound of London, Nine Inch Nails, Letfield, Fluke) and the new school (Lamb, United Future Organization, Goldie, Si Sé, Ballistic Brothers, Robert Owens, Thievery Corporation, Telepopmusik, Koop, among others). Santana Chill Out Café revolutionized the music as they did with the tango Gotan Project, Sidestepper with salsa and cumbia, Nortec Collective with regional Mexican music; Novalima with Chambao with Afro-Peruvian music and flamenco.

En 2004, ces musiciens sont le premier groupe de l'Équateur Lounge: Santana Chill Out Café. Qui est actuellement composé de frères, Miguel, Juano et Bruno Celi, plus Danilo Castro, qui a l'expérience de la fusion de la musique électronique (en baisse de tempo, deep house, trip hop, drum 'n' bass et industrielles), avec boléro, la musique rocolera, yaraví et la bossa nova. Ils ont également créé la chanson "Mi enfermedad", un hommage au club avec Macará Reliz Patricio Edmundo Mantilla. En plus de la Santana Chill Out Café fait le remix de la chanson By Pass Alicia Se Tiró Por El Parabrisas se jeta dans le groupe à travers le pare-brise.
Pourquoi dites banda? "Parce que Santana Chill Out Café est géré dans un pub lounge au-delà de notre grand-père Mario Santana, qui a été batteur dans un night-club, et a été cousine et meilleure amie Rogelio Ramos, le Créateur de la chanson Pain Pinllo", dit Juan.

Juano y Miguel Celi son testarudos. Desde hace más de 10 años han entregado su tiempo y su vida a la música electrónica, pese a la falta de difución y espacios para este género.
"Hemos ido contracorriente pero las satisfacciones obtenidas en este tiempo han sido bastantes", dice Miguel.
En 2004, estos músicos forman la primera banda de Lounge de Ecuador: Santana Chill Out Café. Que en la actualidad está conformada por los hermanos Miguel, Juano y Bruno Celi, además de Danilo Castro, quienes experimentan la fusión de la música electrónica (down tempo, deep house, trip hop, drum ‘n’ bass e industrial), con el bolero, la música rocolera, yaravíes y bossa nova.
La banda nació en Ambato, Ecuador en 2 004 después de varios proyectos y grupos electrónicos liderados por Juano: Chocolate Sexual (1 999), Reptil (2 001) y Kristo Transistor (2 002).
La banda tiene más de 20 canciones propias y reversiones. También colaboraciones con Pepita Naranjo Vargas en el electrobolero "No me conoces" y nuevas versiones de las canciones Pecado de Caetano Veloso; Vasija de Barro, Pan de Pinllo y Un Bolero para tí. También crearon la canción "Mi enfermedad", un homenaje al club Macará relizada junto con Patricio Edmundo Mantilla.
Además los Santana Chill Out Café realizaron el remix de la canción By Pass del grupo Alicia Se Tiró Por El Parabrisas.
¿Por qué la banda se llama así? "Porque Santana Chill Out Café es un pub lounge administrado en el más allá por nuestro abuelo Mario Santana, quien fue baterista en un night club, y además fue primo y mejor amigo de Rogelio Ramos, creador de la canción Pan de Pinllo", asevera Juano.
