General
STP is Tampa Bay's newest adult colorguard to serve the LGBT community. This all male ensemble was formed in 2007 as "Santa's Twirlers" for the annual City of St. Petersburg Santa Parade and has morphed from Santa's Twirlers Project to the current St. Petersburg Twirling Project (STP).
With approximately 15-20 members, STP performs for the annual St. Petersburg Pride Parade and other civic and social functions, primarily in the Summer and Fall.
STP is, proudly, part of the nationwide community of adult GLBT colorguards (ROTC, Flaggots, etc.). Members from our brother organizations around the country are always welcome to come perform with us at events.
We also welcome all potential new members. Guys with experience are preferred, but if you are willing to put in the required work ethic and desire to be part of a high-energy precision oriented performance group, then we'd love to hear from you!
